With full confidence in the success of the project, in 2014 they began extensive research into the possibility of customising all kinds of furnishings, making them significantly lighter. This research led them to the name LEAFLAT. A er 4 years, FBINNOTECH S.r.l was founded, the only company in the world able to deliver 100% sa sfac on on bespoke interior design solu ons of any kind. Gioacchino and Fabio Barle a have built a sound business through incessant research and development, serving as a real R&D Lab for their sectors; conceiving and crea ng new technological solu ons. It is formed of a Kevlar and carbon composite material with a variable thickness of 1-2mm, weighing about 1200g per square metre. It is 100% customisable in terms of dimension and shape, and may be combined with all types of fabric, leather, stone and regenerated materials, which can also be worked and processed. SHAPES and DIMENSIONS Unlike many other materials, LEAFLAT is suitable for a wide range of dimensions, both in terms of thickness - and therefore structural strength - and width and/or depth. Sheets of 1200X1200 mm are produced as standard, but different dimensions are available on request.
