1 Request for Proposal # Cane Creek Park Fiber Optic Cable Upfit ADDENDUM NO. 1 ISSUE DATE: February 2, 2018 Bidders on this project are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be attached to and made a part of the above named bid documents due February 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM EST. The following items add to, modify, and clarify the bid documents and shall have the full force and effect of the original documents. Bids shall conform to those items and the cost change, if any, of these items shall be included in this bid price. This Addendum shall be acknowledged by the bidder on Appendix C, Addendum and Anti-Collusion Form.

4 Single run conduit shall have either an innerduct installed or an integral divider molded into the conduit. The 40% fill requirement does not apply to conduit with an integral divider or conduit in a double run Conduit shall terminate at exterior NEMA 4X enclosures Fiber jumps shall be provided by the County Hand Holes shall be minimum Tier 22. Size and locations shall be determined by the contractor SECTION 5 SPECIFICATIONS, ADD: 5.3 TRENCHING/BORING & INSTALLATION Utility location shall be the contractor responsibility Conduit shall be installed a minimum of 36 below grade Rocky conditions may be present. Contractor is responsible for anticipating and handling any rock issues; no rock obstacle add-on will be allowed. Tracer wire shall be installed. Location of wire, either in conduit or in trench shall be determined by the contractor. Water for boring may be drawn from the lake or pond. Boring sludge may be deposited only in areas identified by County Park & Rec staff. Contractor may be required to berm the disposal area. Building cabling entrance locations are: Park Office Rear of the building at current fiber cable entrance. Cabling will need to be pulled through an attic area to the rack location. Amphitheater The left, rear column, determined by standing in front of and looking at the structure. Will require concrete repair/patch. Maintenance Left corner of enclosed building at the current wireless antenna location. Day Use Hut Putt Exterior wall, Will require asphalt cold-patch. Pump House Side of building closest to the Arcade/Meeting Room Arcade/Meeting Room Enter the building on the side closest the Pump House. Exit building either at entry point and trench around building or pull cable through attic area and exit building on side closest to Store. Store Side (not front) of building closest to Arcade/Meeting Room. 5 Work may be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM EST. Weekend work is not allowed. DELETE Appendix A Pricing Form, found in original post, REPLACE with new Appendix A - Pricing Form issued in Addendum No. 1 (next page). The new form must be submitted with RFP response. 7 QUESTIONS 1. Question: Are we crossing the lake? ANSWER: No, the County will install a wireless transmitter at the Amphitheater and a receiver at the Pump House. 2. Question: Are permits or inspections required? ANSWER: No. 3. Question: Is this County property or National Forest Service land? ANSWER: This is County property. 4. Question: Is metered water available for boring? ANSWER: No, the park in on a well system. Water may be drawn from the lake or pond. 5. Question: May we use alternate cabling routes? ANSWER: Yes, An alternate, shorter route has been determined for Installation Run # 1 through a forested area. Installation Run # 2 has a longer alternate that bypasses many of the utilities present along the paved path.
