1 ADDENDUM No. 1 TO: PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR: Capitol Project No: O BIDDERS ARE HEREBY INFORMED THAT THE CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS ARE MODIFED AS FOLLOWS. Bid Opening Date: Unchanged: 1:30 P.M. (CST), Thursday, December 14, SPECIFICATION CHANGES: 1. Section Proposed Subcontractors Form. Modified the NOTE in the form to state: Subcontractors may perform all subcontracting work on this project with the exception of Division 4 Masonry Work. Subcontractors are allowed to perform the stone paver work (Section ). 2. CLARIFICATION-Section Unit Prices Form: All unit prices in this form must be filled out, completed and submitted as a part of the bid form for the project. The Phenix Napoleon Grey stone is the base bid stone. Base Bid Amount: ONLY the prices for the base bid stone (Phenix Napoleon Grey stone) will be utilized by bidders to arrive at a bidder s total base bid amount (Item 1.0 F in the bid form ). The other stone unit prices will only be used IF a stone, other than the Phenix Napoleon Grey stone is selected after the notice-to-proceed (NTP) is issued and the stone mock-up process has been completed. FAILURE TO SUBMIT UNIT PRICES FOR STONE OTHER THAN THE PHENIX NAPOLEAN GREY STONE SHALL RESULT IN THE BID BEING REJECTED. PLAN CHANGES: 1. NONE. GENERAL: 1. Utility information: the following is for contractors information only. Electricity: 50 amp 120v twist lock receptacles are located on the southeast and southwest corners of the carriage drive. A 225 amp, 120/208, 3ph connection is located on the southeast face of the east stair. A temporary power cord and terminations will need to be provided by the contractor. A 480/3ph, 90amp connection is located in the south lawn nearest the circle drive on the western half of the lawn area. 1

2 50 amp-120v twist lock receptacles are located on the northwest and southwest faces of the roof. Temporary panels will need to be included by the contractor. Water: Water locations are spread throughout the site. A water source on the roof is not available at this time, but will be by the time the project commences. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
