EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION 1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lifts and including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within the campus. Rate in figure (`) Rate in Words Amount (`) (a) All kinds of soil. cum Earth work in filling in Plinth with approved quality granular soil under floors, plinth beam, etc. as per drawing and as directed including watering, ramming, consolidating upto 90% proctor density and dressing complete.( The rate shall be inclusive of providing soil including all lead and lifts, payment for land compensation for obtaining earth, payment of royalty, taxes etc.) ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT: 3 Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for pre-constructional anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under & allround the column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of wall and floor, along the external perimeter of building, expansion joints, surroundings of pipes and conduits etc. complete. Stages shall be treated as per CPWD specification. (Plinth area of the building at ground floor level only shall be measured for payments).- With Chlorpyriphos/Lindane Emulsifiable concentrate 20% with 1% concentration. 4 PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE WORK: Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : cum Sqm Cum. 2 CENTERING AND SHUTTERING: 5 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. & removal of form at all heights and levels. (a) In foundations, footings, bases of columns, pile caps, sides of mass concrete etc. all works up to plinth level. 3 Brick work with bricks of class designation 75 in foundation & plinth in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) Cum Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (a) Fixed to openings /wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc Kg FLOORING & SKIRTING : 13 Providing flat brick soling under floor with bricks of class designation 7.5 on a bed of 12 mm cement mortar, including filling the joints with same mortar 1:6 (1cement : 6 coarse sand), with common burnt clay non modular bricks: mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardener topping, under layer 40 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and top layer 12 mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix : 2 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) by volume, hardening compound 2 litre per 50 kg of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications. 4 15 12mm thick cement plaster on even surface of wall with cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand). Sqm mm thick cement plaster on rough side of masonry wall of Mix 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand). Sqm mm thick, cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) vertical damp proof course on wall between plinth level difference Sqm Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : (a) New work (Two or more coat 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm) Sqm Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: two or more coats on wood work in all shades. (a) Two or more coats on wood/ steel work in all shades Sqm Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 5 22 Providing & applying distemper with 1st class acrylic washable distemper of approved brand manufacture to give an even shade (two or more coats) including removal of undulations and sand papering the same to received one priming coat followed by two or more coats of acrylic distemper complete in all respect. 23 Providing and fixing sliding mosquito net system with powder coated aluminium profiles of approved colour, fibre glass pleated net with pleats of 16 mm with appropriated magnetic locking system as per direction of Engineer in Charge. 24 ROOFING Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. 25 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-incharge) 0.50 mm ( %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineerin-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
