Per Sq.M. as per manufacturer's recommendations using HYDROSTOP of M/s. TIKI Asphalt or equivalent, over roofs of buildings. The rate shall include for the following activities : Surface preparation by wire brushes and cleanig to remove all loose particles, dirt, etc. from the roof surface complete. Application of modified bitumenous 1.00 Ltr. Per 5.00 Sq. M. (on an average basis). Laying of 3 mm thick polymer modified bituminous waterproofing membrane, each strip to have at least 100mm overlapping at longitudinal edges as well as at the ends including installing / fixing by thermofusion by gas torch. Proper sealing of overlaps shall be done by thermofusion & hot trowelling, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include for erection and removal of staging / scaffolding wherever required complete. Application of bitumenous aluminium 0.10 Ltr./ Sq.M. (one or more coats).
