4 Jul 2 Plumbers collecting their supplies at the new BSRC restrooms in the dining area

5 Jul 2 Too much rain in the passing shower chases the brick masons home for the rest of the day

6 Jul 3 1 st Ottilia main entrances get plastered

7 Jul 3 Ductwork insulation in kitchen area begins

8 Jul 3 The final rows of brick are being set in place on the Ottilia tower

9 Jul 3 Digging up the area for the new south Ottilia driveway begins; topsoil is being saved for reuse

10 Jul 3 Rerouting the BSRC walkway from one side of the flagpole to another

11 Jul 3 Green markings indicate the placement of new towel racks in Ottilia bathrooms

18 Jul 5 Metal roofers arrive bright and early to finish topping off the Ottilia tower while scaffolding is still in place

19 Jul 5 Dirt scraping and leveling continues on the south end of Ottilia Hall; wooden ramp provided for handicap access to the Retreat Center

20 Jul 5 Masons build up columns around the steel supports along the east wall of the private retreatant area

21 Jul 5 Furring strip installation in 1 st Ottilia elevator entrance area is being completed, then the crew will move to the Infirmary laundry and staff restroom under the Ottilia staircase

22 Jul 5 Plumbers begin their work at the BSRC dining area restrooms

23 Jul 5 The new Sisters serving area has been tagged for proper electrical and plumbing

24 Jul 5 Even the arriving hardware, like these boxes of door hinges, feel the challenge of getting up the stairs these days

45 Jul 6 Masons working where the stairs to the north porch will be

46 Jul 6 Two pipes in the ground and covered over for the weekend; a run-off barrier is set up in case a heavy rain tries to wash away loose topsoil

47 Jul 6 Plumbing progress for the BSRC dining area restrooms

48 Jul 6 BSRC Dining Room cleaned up for the weekend

49 Jul 6 Outdoor stairwell foundation with water drainage piped through the area

50 Jul 6 With the below ground brickwork completed and water drainage set in place, the trench along the northeast corner of the Private Retreatant area is covered over with dirt; Golden engineer works with the masons to ensure correct measurements and leveling lines

51 Drainage is ready for the crew installing the sewer line to make it to the top of the hill
