The modules used in all of our prefab homes are fully welded structural steel frames that use insulated panels. The modules can be used to create almost any configuration, and can be made to any size to suit a site or design. Modscape can manage any or all stages of the building process, offering services in addition to the design, construction and installation of the client s home. Town planning, site connections, demolition, site clearance and landscaping can all be managed by Modscape for additional fees, but ultimately the choice is left to the client. 11 POST & BEAM Kit homes fully assembled or self-assembled Post & Beam offers kit homes which are designed to be built by anyone. They supply all materials, pre-cut, coded and ready to assemble with an easy-to-understand, illustrated construction manual. Most of the building can be done by one person. Two people are needed to assemble the frame. The only tradespeople required are a concreter (for homes with slab floors), an electrician and a plumber. These tradespeople can be arranged for you if you wish. All materials to build the home to lock-up stage - the massive cypress posts, external wall materials, doors and windows, roofing, insulation and ceiling lining.
