1 Exhibit A Scope Work Inclusions Revised Addendum 2 May 14, 2018 ALL BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO REVIEW THE APPLICABLE SCOPES OF WORK FOR EACH BID AND INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES PRIOR TO BID SUBMISSION. 1. All Trade Scopes of Work 1.1 See Exhibit C - NERP Project Schedule (5-7-18)-ADD 2. All proposers are to review the project schedule and understand the required production rates and man-power to accomplish the work in a timely manor and include crew sizes to accomplish the work and fill their proposed crews and durations in the proposal Bid Form. 1.2 See Bid Attachment 5.a - Logistics Plan - Tilt-Up Sequence. As the sequencing of the structural concrete tilt panel construction and erection is critical for a timely completion of the project, each proposer is required to review this plan to understand its affect to their scope of work and consider in the Bid Proposal. 1.3 Note: Main Entry & Aquatic Park Shade Structures are to be priced in Base Bid Lot #5. Noted on the bid form is Canopy superstructure complete (steel, finishes, and shade material); foundation to be included in Base Bid WBS #1. [Bldg Col Lines > 16 to 18 & A to E] CONCRETE 2.1 See Bid Attachment 5.a - Logistics Plan - Tilt-Up Sequence. The proper sequencing of the structural concrete tilt panel construction and erection is critical for the timely completion of the project. This contactor will review, understand, and adhere to it. 2.2 Submit with the bid proposal your project experience noting dates and owners, as proof of requirement under CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS 1.5.A. - The work of this section will be performed by a company which specializes in the type of concrete work required for this Project, with minimum of ten years of documented successful experience and will be performed by skilled workmen thoroughly experienced in the necessary crafts. 2.3 Revise Trade Specific Inclusion 4.34 to read Concrete drilled pier shoring design and installation is a separate bid package scope of work directive, coordinate all structural foundation work after installation of swimming pool soring. 2.4 Revise Exclusions 5.14 to read: Ornamental and precast concrete of any kind (by Precast Subcontractor), unless included above. 2.5 Add Trade Specific Inclusion For all exposed to view formed concrete a quality Smooth Formed Finish as specified to meet all standards is required, thus only a forming system resulting in a smooth finish will be accepted. In addition, Building Line G, 2-6 x 2-6 x +/- 42 tall primary structural concrete columns are exposed at various sides on various levels, thus a full height monolith casting of each column is required. 2 2.6 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.111: Thickened deck and pits at end of waterslide runout by structural concrete contractor with casting of complete decks. 2.7 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.112: Thickened deck at slide pump pit and sumps are by structural concrete contractor casting the complete decks, detail O/PM Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.113: set required grating cast into concrete pool deck, water feature pits, and catch basins, (cast iron or FRP). Cast in rat slab for plumber. 2.9 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.114: supplied by steel fabricator, set embedder into structural concrete (or sleeves for) railings, access rungs, and miscellaneous steel items within swimming pools/aquatic park water features filter rooms, pump pits, and backwash tanks Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.115: Backwash tank complete, including access hatches, access rungs, or access ladders, (PP1.10 & C/FB1.01) 2.11 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.116: Concrete contractor to install deck and wall timing boxes embedded items in concrete pool deck and natatorium walls. Pool contractor to provide 6 x6 and 12 x6 timing boxes Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.117: provide and install concrete structure for FlowRider wave simulator to include drainage course, as necessary for the complete installation of the containment vault. Perforated piping will be by the plumbing 2.13 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.118: provide and install concrete thicken slab diving structures foundations Add EXCLUSIONS 5.20: all water feature manholes are by the Plumbing contractor 2.15 Add EXCLUSIONS 5.21: water slide foundations, to include excavation, steel, concrete, anchor bolts and backfill of the spread footings and concrete piers will be by waterslide 2.16 Add EXCLUSIONS 5.22: grating (cast iron or FRP as specified) at concrete pool decks and water feature pits and catch basins, supplied by steel fabricator Structural Steel Fabrication 3.1 Trade Specific Inclusion 4.19: grating (cast iron or FRP) with frames, as specified, at concrete pool decks and water feature pits and catch basins, supplied by steel fabricator. 3.2 Trade Specific Inclusion 4.20: railings, access rungs, and miscellaneous steel items within swimming pools/aquatic park water features filter rooms, pump pits, and backwash tank, installed by others (embeds by concrete sub, precast supplier, or guardrail subcontractors) Structural Steel Erection 4.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.30: Erect complete all precast concrete natatorium stadia seating area, to include all welding and grouting. Furnishing of precast concrete stadia will be by precast supplier; caulking and sealants will be by Division 07 contractors. Page 2 of 7

3 Waterproofing 5.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.13 Include all general Caulking and Sealants not specify included with other trades, such as expansion joints in: site concrete flatwork, concrete tilt up panels, precast concrete natatorium stadia seating area, exterior wall hollow mental doors. 5.2 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.14 Include all waterproofing required for: a. Elevator Pit b. Swimming pools and water features backwash tank c. Swimming pools and water features backwash manholes d. FlowRider/wave simulator containment vault e. Equipment room balance tanks f. Waterslide collection sumps (located at the end of each waterslide) Swimming Pools 6.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.35: Pool contractor to pre-set all starting platform anchors, dive stand anchors, stanchion anchors or rails anchors prior to concrete deck installation. Pool contractor to ensure all anchors are set at the right elevation and are plumb/true, and coordinate with concrete sub 6.2 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.36: Pool contractor to provide and install the geotextile fabric, drainage course and 4 perforated pipe/4 drain pipe located beneath the 50Mx25Y lap pool as and the Multipurpose pool. The 4 pipe will be extended to within 5FT of its corresponding man-hole vault. Connection of the 4 pipe to the man-hole to be completed by Plumbing 6.3 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.37: Sump pumps located within the filter room, flow rider mechanical room, the slide booster pump vault, including plumbing to backwash tank and stand pipes will be provided and installed by the applicable pool/water feature 6.4 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.38: Include all electrical conduit, wiring, junction boxes etc. to all low voltage pool equipment within the pool filter/chemical rooms. (Low voltage would be considered 24V or less). 6.5 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.39: provide pump VFDs and Intellibrite Lighting Controllers to electrical subcontractor for installation 6.6 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.39: Pool contractor will provide and install an underwater light niche and extend PVC conduit approximately 10FT from the back of the pool structure for connection and continuation by the electrical Electrical contractor will provide all Hydrel junction boxes and transformers (along with all concrete pedestals, if required) for the installation of the underwater pool lighting. 4 6.7 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.40: Pool contractor will provide the underwater lighting fixtures to the electrical contractor for installation by the electrical Pool contractor to coordinate the cord lengths required for each light with the electrical contractor prior to ordering. 6.8 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 3.41: Pool contractor to provide 6 x6 and 12 x6 timing boxes. Concrete contractor to install deck and wall timing boxes embedded items in concrete pool deck and natatorium walls. 6.9 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 3.42: The pool contractor will provide and install the timing system face plates, pace clocks and score board as required by the timing system supplier and install timing system specific cabling from the wall plates to the deck plates as required Water Slide 7.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.19: All water slide foundations, to include excavation, steel, concrete, anchor bolts and backfill of the spread footings and concrete piers. 7.2 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.20: Sump pumps located within the filter room, flow rider mechanical room, the slide booster pump vault, including plumbing to backwash tank and stand pipes will be provided and installed by the applicable pool/water feature 7.3 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.21: Include all electrical conduit, wiring, junction boxes, etc. to all low voltage pool equipment within the pool filter/chemical rooms. (Low voltage would be considered 24V or less). 7.4 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 3.22: Provide pump VFDs and Intellibrite Lighting Controllers to electrical subcontractor for installation. 7.5 Add Exclusion 5.4: Thickened deck at the runout and the recovery sumps are by structural concrete contractor casting the complete decks FlowRider Wave Simulator 8.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.19: Sump pumps located within the filter room, flow rider mechanical room, the slide booster pump vault, including plumbing to backwash tank and stand pipes will be provided and installed by the applicable pool/water feature 8.2 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.20: Include all electrical conduit, wiring, junction boxes etc. to all low voltage pool equipment within the pool filter/chemical rooms. (Low voltage would be considered 24V or less). 8.3 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.21: Provide pump VFDs and Intellibrite Lighting Controllers to electrical subcontractor for installation Page 4 of 7

5 8.4 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.24: installation of the filtration related plumbing within the FlowRider wave simulator containment vault. 8.5 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.25: FlowRider wave simulator manufacturer / supplier will supply and install all motors, controls, pumps as required for proper operation of the wave simulator. Electrical contractor will be responsible for the installation of the FlowRider wave simulator power panels Plumbing 9.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.37: All pool feature manholes are by this contractor, see sheets PM 1.02, 1.03, and Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.38: Include connection of the 4 pipe to the all man-hole from within 5 of the manhole. Pool contractor to provide and install the geotextile fabric, drainage course and 4 perforated pipe/4 drain pipe located beneath the 50Mx25Y lap pool as and the Multipurpose pool. 9.3 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.39: Plumbing contractor will be responsible to coordinate with Sundt on site supervisor, steel fabricator, and concrete contractor for the installation of all plumbing to trench drains in the pool and aquatic park decks. 9.4 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.39: Provide perforated piping under FlowRider wave simulator. Concrete structure subgrade drainage course, is by the concrete 9.5 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 4.40: Provide all premanufactured trench drain and grating with basin system for all water features, i.e. Aco or Zern. 9.6 Add EXCLUIONS 4.9: installation of the filtration related plumbing within the Flow Rider wave simulator containment vault, is by the simulator Mechanical 10.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.71: Will provide and install indoor evacuator system, to include all ducting, excavation, backfill, equipment, and will coordinate with Sundt on site supervisors and the pool contractor s swimming pool piping. Grating (FRP) with frames will be supplied by Steel fabricators and installed by concrete Electrical 11.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.80: Include all power, lighting, and special systems required for supply to swimming pools and aquatic park water features as noted in the contract documents Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.81: provide all disconnects, auxiliary contacts, magnetic relays and other electrical control devices necessary for the operation of the pool systems. 6 Pool contractor to provide pump VFDs and Intellibrite Lighting Controllers to electrical subcontractor for installation Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.82: provide all Hydrel junction boxes and transformers (along with all concrete pedestals, if required) for the installation of the underwater pool lighting. The electrical contractor will test and verify that the system grounding system Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.85: The electrical contractor will install all 120V Quad and Duplex outlets shown on sheet PEL1.04 and run all conduit between each outlet to the 6 x6 x6 deck boxes installed by the concrete The 120V outlets will be wired to the panel as required by the electrical 11.7 Add Trade Specific Inclusions 4.86: Electrical contractor will be responsible for the installation of the FlowRider wave simulator power panels. FlowRider wave simulator manufacturer/supplier will supply and install all motors, controls, pumps as required for proper operation of the wave simulator Add EXCLUIONS 5.4: All electrical conduit, wiring, junction boxes etc. to all low voltage pool equipment within the pool filter/chemical rooms. (Low voltage to be considered 24V or less) Earthwork and Site Work 12.1 Revise Trade Specific Inclusions 3.14 to read: Mass excavation to +/-0.1 below subgrade of all Swimming Pools as noted below is required in this bid proposal trade scope of work. Shoring of Olympic/Warmup and Climbing Wall pools is in the Shoring Bid Proposal Package. a. Olympic/Warmup pools b. Climbing Wall pool and backwash tank c. Recreation Pool d. Wading pool e. FlowRider wave simulator 12.2 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 3.42: Earthwork subcontractor to provide at least 4FT of working space, above pool shoring and behind the pool structure/gutter (or the furthest extent of the pool structure) to allow for back forming of top 3-0 of pool wall / gutter. 7 12.3 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 3.43: Backfill around swimming pool excavation after shotcrete or cast-in-place pool walls are cured. Coordinate with Sundt onsite supervisor and swimming pool contract. If acceptable as approved through the submittal process a gravel fill small aggregate mix will be acceptable. a. Olympic/Warmup pools: Approximate average of 4 x 4 around entire pools perimeter and the full length between the Olympic and Warmup pools approximate 6 wide x 6 deep. b. Climbing Wall pool and backwash tank: to North, East and West back fill benched soil. South side of excavation will be held by temporary shoring. c. Recreation Pool: back fill benched soils d. FlowRider wave simulator: back fill benched soils 12.4 Add EXCLUSIONS 4.5: all water feature manholes are by the Plumbing contractor Pool Shoring System 13.1 Add Trade Specific Inclusion 3.22: Shoring on west side of the Climbing Pool to be flush with back of backwash pit (PP1.10 & C/FB1.01) top of shoring to be at current grade +/-3-0 below future finish grade. Pool contractor to provide back forms from shoring system to finish deck elevation. The system will be drilled concrete piers complete, with continuous bearing beam concrete square in section, pier cap, similar to attached Pool Shoring System sketches, to include: design, setting, abandonment in place, geofabric drainage system, concrete, reinforcing complete. The pricing for this item will be bid in TSS Alternate #1. Page 7 of 7
