4 High Performance Timber Windows The minimalistic flush profile and crisp white finish are based on exacting Scandinavian designs and specifications and have been adapted to suit the rigours of the UK market. Not only does the product come with a Window Energy Rating (WER) of B it also achieves a U-Value of 1.4 W/m 2 K. CE Marking ensures our windows comply with the Construction Products Directive. The range also carries the prestigious Q Mark from BM TRADA. All windows come fully finished in white and fully glazed with high security Espagnolette locks, aluminium drained and vented bottom beads and easy clean projecting friction hinges. All windows are manufactured from engineered timber for greater strength and stability. Our range comprises of a stocked range of plain casement windows available on our standard 1 week lead-time. In addition to our standard stocked range we have recently introduced a made to order range of timber windows which include the following glazing options; // Horizontal Bar (see p12) // Cottage Bar (see p14) // All Bar (see p16). 35 How to install an External Timber Doorset Doorsets Our products are specifically designed with installation in mind. By following the steps below installation of one of our Doorsets should take no longer than half a day. Remove packaging and inspect XL Doorset prior to installation Remove existing Door/Frames Remove the protruding horns from the head and the cill then treat the exposed edges with a high build external door stain Place frame into opening Ensure frame is square using a spirit level and fix the door to the wall using suitable frame fixers Place door on the frame Attach all hardware provided Seal the gap between the frame and the surrounding structure Doorset installation is complete external joinery collection 35
