All bidders and plan holders are hereby notified that the contract documents for the subject project have been amended as hereinafter set forth. The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made part of the contract documents and plans. BID PROPOSAL 1. Replace page 11 of the Contract Bid Proposal Schedule A with revised page 11 Schedule A (included below) which includes the following revisions: a. Revise quantity of bid item No. 26 Conc. Class 4000 from 231 CY to 201 CY. b. Revise quantity of bid item No. 27 Conc. Class 4000D from 132 CY to 137 CY c. Revise quantity of bid item No. 28 St. Reinf. Bar from 37,511 LB to 34,020 LB d. Revise quantity of bid item No. 29 Epoxy-Coated St. Reinf. Bar from 22,013 LB to 24,767 LB 2. Replace page 12 of the Contract Bid Proposal Schedule A with revised page 12 Schedule A (included below) which includes the following revisions: a. Revise quantity of bid item No. 32 Prestressed Conc. Girder (WF36TDG) from 600 LF to 615 LF

2 PLAN SHEETS 1. Replace Plan Sheet C4 PLAN AND PROFILE with the revised plan sheet (included below) which includes the following changes: a. Conduit pipe material type identified in Callout No. 1 b. Location of conduit pipe shown along NE bridge approach 2. Replace Plan Sheet S7 STEEL PILE DETAILS with the revised plan sheet (included below) which includes the following changes: a. Deletion of Note 2 as described in Addendum No. 1. b. Denoted Dam pl to be designed by contractor 3. Revise the last sentence of the fourth bullet point of Plan Sheet SC2 RIPRAP SECTIONS 1 to read: ANY COSTS AND MATERIALS RELATED TO WASHING IN SELECT BORROW WILL BE PAID BY FORCE ACCOUNT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION OF THE WSDOT STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIAL PROVISIONS 1. Section (2) is supplemented with the following: (******) The Contractor is advised that no project specific as-built drawings or pile driving logs are available for the existing bridge which consists of three, (1) 31 and (2) 18-9, concrete channel beam girder spans supported by a timber substructure. The Contractor is advised that the following materials are part of the existing Bridge No. 50, and will need to be removed and disposed of / recycled in accordance with this contract and applicable laws and regulations: Concrete 4 ea foot channel beam girders with curbs (See Appendix I for details) 12 ea foot channel beam girders (See Appendix I for details) 2 ea foot channel beam girders with curbs (See Appendix I for details) 6 ea. 31 foot channel beam girders (See Appendix I for details) 8 ea. 4 foot x 15 foot x 4 inch precast bulkheads (See Appendix I for details) 8 ea. 4 foot x 12 foot x 4 inch precast bulkheads (See Appendix I for details) 2 ea. 4 foot x 15 foot x 4 inch precast bulkheads (See Appendix I for details)

This grout shall be kept from entering Bertrand Creek and it s containment shall be included in the Bridge Demolition Plan submittal in accordance with Section (2)A1. APPENDICES 1. Add Appendix I Typical Details of Existing Bridge Components containing the following as a reference to the contractor: a. PRECAST CONCRETE BRIDGE WITH CHANNEL UNITS 18-9 LONG b. 31 PRECAST GIRDER c. PRECAST CONCRETE BULKHEADS Bid opening date and time shall remain the same: 2:30 pm, Tuesday, March 26, NOTE: Acknowledgement of the receipt of this addendum is required under Bid Proposal Signature and Addendum Acknowledgment of the Contract Documents in order for the bid proposal to be considered complete.
