Terms and Conditions 1. Quality All materials shall conform to the relevant IS codes and standards and bear ISI mark. 2. Rate The rate should be quoted in the format given above only. The rates quoted should be firm and inclusive of all taxes and duties. Escalation in rates will not be entertained. TNUIFSL is not entitled to issue any C or D form or any other form to avail concessional rates of taxes. The tenderer may visit the site and get acquainted with the site condition before quoting. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to take appropriate insurance for men and materials.

7 3. Payment 4. Retention -6-60% payment will be made after the receipt of materials at the site 20% upon erection 20% upon successful commissioning of entire system in good condition as per the specification; at the office of TNUIFSL. Retention money shall be deducted from progressive running 10% of gross value of each running bill. The retention amount will be released after 30 days from the date of successful commissioning. 5. Supply, erection, testing and Commissioning The Panel Board and its accessories should be supplied, erected, tested and commissioned at the proposed office of TNUIFSL at No.19, T.P. Scheme Road, Raja Street Extension, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai within 10 days from the date of receipt of the work order from TNUIFSL. TNUIFSL is at liberty to alter the contract period to suit its need as and when necessity arises, during the course of the Contract. 6. Coordination with TNEB The Contractor shall coordinate and obtain permission for the power supply of 125 KVA within the premises. The statutory fees payable to TNEB will be borne by TNUIFSL. 7. Reservation of Rights TNUIFSL reserves the rights to accept or reject any / all offer, without assigning any reasons thereof; revise the quantities and / or relax any of the conditions stipulated in this contract wherever deemed necessary in the best interest of TNUIFSL for successful completion of the work. 8. Coordination with the Interior Contractor The contractor selected for this work should co ordinate with the interior furnishing Contractor for carrying out the work. 9. Validity of Quotation Quotation should be valid for acceptance for a period of at least 30 (thirty) days from the date of opening of the quotation. 10. Force Majeure The performance in whole or in part or any obligation under the Contract shall be subject to force majeure condition. 11. Termination by TNUIFSL 1. Terminate the contract by giving seven days notice, without assigning any reason thereof. 2. Termination of contract for non-performance by giving seven days notice.

8 Agreement An agreement has to be executed within three days from the date of receipt of work order for the due fulfillment of the contract. IV. Undertaking by the Tenderer I/We hereby quote the rates for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Panel Board and its accessories and obtaining power supply for 125 KVA in coordination with TNEB. The rate quoted is firm and I /we will not demand any enhancement in the quoted rate under any circumstances during the currency of the agreement.
