CONCLUSIONS The storage building scheduled for demolition consists of approximately 2400 square feet slab on grade construction with solid masonry walls and timber frame rood truss system. Roofing system is metal seam roof decking. No mechanical systems and/or insulating materials were observed. The only suspect asbestos containing materials (ACM) observed were window caulking and potentially the mortar associated with the masonry construction. None of the six samples collected tested positive for asbestos containing materials. ACM is defined as a material containing more than 1% asbestos through analysis by polarized light microscopy. RECOMMENDATIONS No further asbestos survey activities are recommended for the subject property. Due to the pending demolition of this storage building, a notice of demolition (or NESHAP notice, Form DEP 7036) must be submitted to the Ashland Region Kentucky Division for Air Quality branch at least 10 working days prior to commencement of demolition activities. A copy of this asbestos survey showing no asbestos present must be submitted with the notification. This form may be accessed at the following link: Page 3 of 4
