3 INSTRUCTIONS - QBISS ONE SPAN TABLES To use Qbiss one span tables, following notes have to be considered: Static evidence of Qbiss One façade elements stability and their fixation is required in accordance with applicable legislation (EN and other national technical regulations, if applicable). Static evidence is a static calculation of the assembly conditions and load for each individual building and façade type. NOTE: Table of allowed distances cannot be used as static stability evidence. Stated values are calculated based on the most unfavourable combination of load and idealized assembly conditions and not on actual conditions. Trimo (Technical Support Department) can perform your individual static calculation with SandStat4 software application. Possible wind conditions are a decisive factor for defining admissible assembly distances and determining fixing conditions. Characteristic wind loads have to be defined according to national regulation (i.e. Eurocode, DIN...). Combination coefficients and safety factors are overtaken from EN Annex E.6: combination coefficients see Table E.6, load factors see Table E.8, material safety factors see Table E.9. Wind conditions are defined in accordance with the provisions of EN :2005 Standard and other national standards (DIN , NEN 6702, SniiP,...), if applicable. According to the provisions of the European Standard, used in most countries (also applied in similar national standards), a static calculation of loads for each individual building is required. A table of allowed distances is based on the technical data in Building and Control Permit: Qbiss One T Zulassung Nr. Z of 23. July 2015 Qbiss One S Zulassung Nr. Z of 5. June

4 BASIC DATA - DEFINING FIXING CONDITIONS Fixing of Qbiss One B façade elements and admissible distances are defined, based on performed fixing tests and the relevant Gutachten Nr. Z-510 report. The admissible fixed-screw pull-out resistances - N R,d - are as stated in Building and Control Permit Z for screw EJOT JT3 6 5,5 x L E22 with Pull Out Resistance N R,d = 1,579 kn (ETA 13/0177 of 26. April) fixed in a steel supporting substructure with s = 3 mm thick, made of quality S 235 material. In case of lower quality or other materials (aluminium, wood) a static calculation of the necessary number of screws is MANDATORY. Values apply to simple closed buildings - special static calculation is required in case of attics. When determining the admissible distance always consider less favourable value (wind (+), wind (-)), fixing. Stated admissible distances apply only to support by width b bmin and number of screws n n min Stated admissible distances apply only to combination of G/s profiles and sheet metal in thicknesses 0,7/0,55 mm. Deformation of Qbiss One façade elements is limited to L/100 for individual loads, or for wind effects (60%), and temperature differences, respectively. Same length and wind effect properties apply for fixing neighbouring Qbiss One façade elements. Static calculation is required in case of any deviations.
