Apply the ceiling, wll nd furring systems in ccordnce with the respective most current Knuf system dt sheets. Subsequent instlltion possible The cldding must be swed out for subsequent instlltion of the ccess. Apply frme mde of circumferentil profile pieces (CD chnnels or CW studs / UW runners) nd screw ttch them (screw spcing 150 mm). Jointing Fill outer frme nd ceiling or wll surfce of ccess with Uniflott. It is not necessry to fill or skim the inner frme to surfce qulity Q2 with flush dhesively bonded gypsum bords. Fill in screw heds if the htch is screw fixed. For surfce qulity level Q3 scrpe skim the htch fce. Preprtion for qulity level Q4 on request. Cotings nd linings Surfce tretment of the ccess s with gypsum bord inlys in cc. with the Knuf System Dt Sheet of the relevnt system. designed for tiling Only pply the tiles using the thin bed method (mx. dhesive + tile 10 mm). Fill joint between cldding nd outer frme fter instlltion of the ccess. The edge of the wll tile cn be directly pplied on the clernce dimension. Insert the sel (vilble on request). Note for the pinter Generlly remove the ccess htch before pinting seprtely so tht no pint penetrtes the nrrow joint between the htch nd the outer frme. Use Schnellbuschruben TB screws or Dimntschruben XTB screws for the ttchment of the frme to the cldding. The ccess cn be instlled together with the grid or when the cldding is pplied. Mke the cut out opening 12 mm lrger thn the ccess size (= clernce). Arrnge trimmers mde of CD or CW studs / UW runners in ccordnce with the dimension of the ccess. Mintin distnces between cut-out section nd trimmer profiles of t lest 30 mm nd mximum of 100 mm. Mount 4 dditionl suspenders in the corner res of the ccess when mounting in ceilings. Additionl suspenders re required for trimmers on suspended ceiling profiles. Plce outer frme of the ccess in the opening, ly it on the cldding, lign nd screw ttch. Subsequently, insert the htch nd check the lock for proper functioning. If the distnce to the instlltions in the wll or ceiling is < 200 mm, it is necessry to perform instlltion of the outer frme in the gypsum bord together with the cldding. With wll ccess s, clernce of mm must be ensured in the upper third of the rer side of the htch for opening the. Depending on the construction type nd instlltion conditions of the ccess s trimmers mde of profiles re necessry (see scheme drwings). 2
