1 Issue Department Chandigarh Tender Form Part I Terms and Conditions for Sale of Scrap (Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil with iron drum) 1. The prescribed Tender Form (Part I and Part II) duly filled in may be submitted in a sealed envelope super scribed as Tender for Sale of scrap (Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil with iron drum) and addressed to The General Manager, Issue Department, Reserve Bank of India, Central Vista, Sector 17, Chandigarh so as to reach not later than 02:00 PM on March 11, 2019 (Monday). For clarification of Tender Document, a Pre- Bid meeting (optional) is scheduled at 11:00 AM on February 25, 2019 (Monday) at Reserve Bank of India, Issue Department, 1st Floor, Central Vista, Sector 17, Chandigarh The price shall be quoted excluding GST, if applicable. 3. Tender Forms (Part I and Part II) received after 2:00 PM on March 11, 2019 will not be accepted in any circumstances. The tenderer shall sign and stamp all the pages of this tender document (both Part I and Part II). 4. Tender will be opened on March 11, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the presence of General Manager, Issue Department, Chandigarh or any other authorized official and the tenderer or their representative who choose to be present at the time of opening of tenders. 5. For sale of scrap Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, rate shall be quoted at Rs. per Kg. For sale of scrap Hydraulic Oil with Iron drum, rate may be quoted for Oil at Rs. per litre and for Iron drum at Rs. per drum. For arriving at the final rate for scrap (hydraulic oil with iron drum), sum of (i) Value of Oil in Rs. per litre multiplied by 200 litre (assuming 200 litres approx. in one drum) and (ii) Value of Iron drum at Rs. per drum may be considered. 2 shall be awarded on the basis of highest quotation offered for sale and credentials of the tenderers. The rate shall remain valid for one year i.e. from April 01, 2019 to March 31, The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders received without assigning any reason. The Bank s decision will be final in this regard. 6. The contract for Sale of scrap (Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil with iron drum) will be executed for a period of one year effective from April 1, 2019 on the terms and conditions specified in the Tender. The Bank at its discretion may renew the contract entered with the successful tenderer for the following two years, not exceeding one year at a time, depending upon the performance of the successful tenderer at existing terms and conditions. 7. Successful tenderer shall be called to deposit Rs. 5,000/- as security deposit before award of work and no interest is payable thereof. The amount will be forfeited in case the tenderer fails to execute the work during the contract period. 8. The tenderer or his authorized representative shall be present in the Bank to supervise the work under the contract so long the work remains in progress. The Contractor will abide by all legal obligations. 9. The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any tenderer if it comes to its knowledge that the tenderer was awarded contract in the past but did not execute the same as per terms and conditions. 10. On accumulation of scrap (Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil with iron drum), the contractor will immediately be required to collect the same from bank premises on working days (Monday to Friday) between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The Contractor will make his own arrangements for labour and transportation (at his/her cost) and also bags to lift the above items from the Bank premises. 11. The Contractor will be required to collect the accumulated scrap (Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil with iron drum)

The Contractor will have to pay the contracted amount per item in cash or NEFT (preferably) on the day of sale of the accumulated scrapped Wooden Boxes, Corrugated Boxes, Plastic and Steel Strips, and Hydraulic Oil (with iron drum) by the Bank. The applicable prevailing taxes (GST, etc.) will be collected from the Contractor at the time of sale of above items. 13. The Contractor will have to furnish the document, if any, required under the provisions of the Income Tax Act and to pay the taxes, if any, payable at source under the provisions of Income Tax Act/GST. 14. If the Contractor contravenes any of the terms and conditions of the contract, the contract will be terminated after giving a notice of 30 days and the Bank s decision in this regard will be final and binding. 15. This is to certify that I/We before signing this tender have read and fully understood all the terms and conditions contained herein and undertake myself to abide by them.
