1 La Tour Koenig Pointe aux Sables 111 Republic of Mauritius Tel No: Fax No: Website: ENROLMENT FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2019 (Application Deadline: 15th February Expected Start date: 25 February 2019) OPEN DAYS: 25th and 26th January 2019 (Tentative) Award of Scholarships to Students by the University of Technology, Mauritius The University of Technology, Mauritius is awarding scholarships to deserving students with excellent HSC (or equivalent) results to enrol for full time undergraduate programmes at the University of Technology, Mauritius as per the following criteria: (i) Students having scored at least 2 points at HSC or GCE A-level (or equivalent), computed on the basis of the following grades obtained in three Principal subjects: A+ = 10; A = 9; B = 8; C = 7; D = 6, are eligible to apply for a Scholarship available in their first year upon registration as a student. Five (05) such Scholarship will be made available following a competitive selection; (ii) The Scholarships will be granted to the most deserving applicants, selected as a result of a combination of their HSC results and their performance at a face to face interview preferably before they enrolled as a student; (iii) The Scholarship will cover 80% of the fees payable to the University in their first year; (iv) The Scholarship is thereafter renewable yearly subject to the awardee's marks in all modules for the preceding academic year being above 65%; (v) Depending on the time the application is made, the Scholarship in the subsequent years may take the form of either a refund of such amount already paid or waiving of the appropriate proportion of the fees; (vi) These scholarships will apply only for courses offered and run by the UTM on its main campus and not for any programmes run by any of its affiliated education providers; (vii) Beneficiaries of other Scholarships or grants to pursue studies at the University of Technology, Mauritius shall not be eligible to apply to this Scholarship Scheme.
