It s our vision that makes the difference Stratton House, Mayfair, London When Stratton House in London s Mayfair was modernised, a key requirement was to preserve its special architectural integrity while enhancing its character. Curtain walling in the rear courtyard brought light to the stairwells and offices, and a stunning, light-filled atrium provided access to the rooftop terrace and light to the penthouse. For a decade and more, Vision Architectural Glazing Installations has been designing and installing bespoke glass structures. Specialising in high quality domestic installations, we have built a reputation for quality by using only the finest processes, materials and suppliers. At the design development stage, we use the latest technologies in 3D modelling to give you a realistic appreciation of the final structure. From the first sales meeting through to fabrication and installation, our directors are personally committed and will do all they can to ensure the best possible result. It takes time and it takes effort, but we believe the difference it makes when you choose Vision AGI is crystal clear.

272 High Holborn, London WC1 The redevelopment of this 1940s office building included an imposing new entrance hall and a sky storey and roof terrace giving stunning views across London. Making a statement without making a footprint Every glass structure from Vision AGI is designed and built to enhance and improve home environments. We take a similar approach to the wider environment and are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our business. All of our raw materials are sourced from companies that hold certification for ISO Environmental Management.

Stansfield Hall The panoramic glass façade of period property, Stansfield Hall, offers stunning views over the rolling Suffolk countryside. Completing the picture Many of the contracts we undertake include a full design to installation service. However, if you would prefer to arrange the installation, we offer full instructions and a fixing kit to ensure that the glass structure you specify looks as good as the original design.

Adding a new dimension to design Gavin Hutton, Technical Director and Partner at Vision AGI was responsible for the production of the 3D model showing the structural and blast resilient glazing on the award winning London 2012 Olympic Velodrome (a 2M package). * SolidWorks is a registered trademark of Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation With the use of SolidWorks*, a 3D computer-aided design solution software package, we are able to develop and complete accurate designs that can be leveraged across the planning, layout, fabrication and construction processes. During the design development stage we meet with our clients to explore ideas and alternatives using 3D parametrics and finite element analysis to optimise their designs against project objectives. With this service and attention to detail, our clients get a realistic 3D view of what their installation will actually look like.

Offering a clear choice Whatever kind of structure you re planning, we can recommend a suitable glass that is fabricated in the UK by the leading glass processors to the highest British and European Standards. Float Glass Toughened HST Glass Manufactured by floating molten glass on a bath of liquid tin to produce a perfectly flat surface on both sides, float glass is most commonly used in building developments. Where glass is specified for features like canopies or balustrades, we will often recommend heat soak tested glass to reduce the possibility of fractures caused by nickel sulphide inclusions in the manufacturing process. Toughened Glass Five times stronger than normal glass, toughened glass is often specified for larger structures.

Turners, Rayne, Essex The new extension on this Grade II listed cottage is connected to the old building by an innovative and seamless glass link that offers glorious views over the extensive gardens. Heat Strengthened Glass For overhead or sloping designs, heat strengthened glass can be used to add additional strength to the final structure. The Vision team arrived on site on the day they said they would and finished the job earlier than scheduled. Coated Glass To increase insulation, coated glass has very thin layers of metal oxides on the surface. Laminated Glass For increased safety, sound insulation and UV protection, laminated glass can be specified. Insulated Glass Units With multiple layered glass panes, insulated glass units are a way to reduce energy costs, decrease condensation and increase sound insulation.

Taking care of the smallest detail While glass is the main feature in every structure we design and install, the additional elements required to fabricate the structure are equally important. Aluminium The aluminium used in our frames is manufactured in the UK to the highest standards and offers outstanding thermal insulation and security. Silicone We use the best quality silicone sealants from Dow Corning, tested for adhesion with coated surfaces and stainless steel finishes. Hardware The hardware and fixings used in the construction of our rooflights are specified to a minimum stainless steel grade A2. The Scholars, Little Wilbraham, Cambridge The new two-storey glass façade extension of this old 19th century schoolhouse blends in with its stunning historical arches, while maximising the views across the Cambridgeshire countryside.

The Vision AGI team showed great attention to detail and we ended up with exactly what we wanted. We have installed the following products inside this 19th century schoolhouse: Structural glass beams supporting rooflights and incorporating solar PV roof panels Self supporting frameless glass pyramids, one with multi layered screen printing Sliding and fixed Privalite Glazing that changes from a clear to an opaque glass panel with the flick of a switch A cantilevered glass balustrade Shaped glass arches An SGG frameless glass door - the first one in this country LED lighting to enhance and really bring the installation to life

The installation team were a pleasure to work with and very polite and tidy during the construction stage. LED lighting to enhance and bring the installation to life. Privalite Glazing changes from a clear to an opaque glass panel with the flick of a switch.

We have a show house that can be visited by appointment in Cambridge, demonstrating many of the structural installations that we can design, supply and install. Vision AGI Ltd Waterhouse Business Centre 2 Cromar Way Chelmsford Essex CM1 2QE T: E: sales@visionagi.co.uk Partners:
