Marble decorative paving and facing slabs, asbestoscement pipes, roofing materials and other products are also manufactured. The construction materials industry of is represented by enterprises with considerable export potential. Among them are factories producing cement, reinforced concrete constructions, building materials silicate and burnt brick, precast concrete and other products. There are factories for the production of silicate and burnt brick, and precast concrete. The sector s enterprises were modernized to be able to work with new kinds of materials like basalt, agloporite, mineral wool, and light concrete panels.
