2 PROGRESS UPDATE Rien Construction (General Contractor) Placed rebar, anchor bolts and concrete for footings and piers for areas A and D Graded, placed the stone base, vapor barrier and wire mesh for the slab on grade in area C and in the gym Placed subgrade insulation around perimeter walls at the connector and backfilled with stone Excavated and placed concrete footings and the elevator pit slab and sump pit Set door frames on the first and second floor of area B and at the gym and locker rooms Grouted under steel columns in area C Started demolition of the cafeteria vestibule and stone panels on the south side of the existing building Etzel Masonry (Masonry Subcontractor) Laid CMU backup for the mechanical room Continued laying split face block on areas B & C, the gym locker rooms, the mechanical room and the gym Sprayed air barrier on the block walls around the gym and area B Laid brick veneer on the gym and at the stairwells for areas B and C Laid CMU walls for the locker rooms, gym chases and elevator shaft Ferguson-Steel (Steel Erection Subcontractor) Installed columns, beams and roof joists for the first floor of area C Installed joists, bracing and acoustical decking for the gym Started installing beams and decking for the gym locker rooms and the rest of area D Emerick Masonry (Concrete Subcontractor) Placed and finished the concrete slab on grade for area C and the gym Grafton Construction (Interiors Subcontractor) Installed wall framing for the first and second floors of area B and started installing exterior wall framing for area C Installed sheathing, insulation and plywood for the exterior walls on area B and started installing sheathing on area C Installed wood blocking around the window openings on area B SRI Roofing (Roofing Subcontractor) Installed substrate boards, insulation, cover boards and EPDM roofing on area B, the gym and area C Boak & Sons (Spray Foam Insulation Subcontractor) Started spraying foam insulation for the exterior walls on the first floor of area B Merit Electrical Group (Electrical Contractor) Installed conduit, MC cable and boxes in the basement of area C and the first and second floors of area B Installed underground conduits in the mechanical room, gym and area C Worked with the masons to install conduit and junction boxes in masonry walls Installed temporary lighting on the first and second floors of area B and in the gym Vrabel Plumbing (Plumbing Contractor) Installed carriers, waste and vent piping for areas B and C and the gym locker rooms Installed domestic water lines for areas B and C Installed roof drains and rain water conductor piping for areas B and C Excavated and installed underground sanitary piping for the restrooms on the north side of the gym
3 Lugaila Mechanical (HVAC Contractor) Mobilized office trailer, storage trailers and stocked materials Installed hangers and hot water supply and return piping for terminal boxes in area B. 13 Exterior wall framing and roofing started for area C Stone base was placed for the gym floor
14 Air barrier was applied to the gym walls and the brick fascia was laid Sheathing, insulation and plywood were installed on the exterior walls for area B
15 Split face block and brick was laid for the exterior gym walls Concrete slab on grade was placed and finished for the gym
16 Steel erection continued for area D CMU backup and split face block were laid for the mechanical room
