1 Time and material reports can be difficult to understand. Basically each item that is to be repaired or remodeled is listed. The costs of the material and the labor costs to install or removal of that item are listed separately. These items and costs are done room by room and aspects of interior or exterior are in there own category. The total costs are shown under each category and the grand total is shown at the end of the report. The more extensive the report - the amount of money increases. To get the full benefits with this type of report it should be written by a company with extensive construction and remodeling experience. It is necessary to compose this report in a professional manner so that is easily understood. The insurance company will make financial decisions on the bases of this report. The insurance company needs to understand the exact costs and where they located so they can provide the appropriate money. The costs involved must be indexed pricing pertaining to the area involved. There will be discussions with your insurance company for the amount of items that need to be replaced and the extent of these items. This is a very important aspect of getting the most money for you and your home. This needs to be handled in a professional manner by the company that represents you and your money.
