Scoped drainage improvements include the replacement of substandard inlet grates adjacent to ADA curb ramps which will be reconstructed and the rebuilding of inlet tops as required. Work will include concrete patching, diamond grinding, guiderail upgrades, signing and pavement markings and maintain existing drainage. The scope of work for the SR 0219 (two lane portion) will include bituminous milling and overlay, transverse joint repair, pavement base failure repair guiderail upgrades, signing and pavement markings, tree trimming and maintain existing drainage. Additional work included on this project is for the concrete pavement preservation on SR 4031 and will include concrete patching, bituminous spall repairs, a thin asphalt overlay, guiderail upgrades, signing and pavement markings and maintaining existing drainage. There is also bridge preservation activities on two sets of dual structures on SR 0219 and will include scarification, hydrodemolition, a new latex overlay, new approach slabs and new strip seals. This project will also include the stabilization of a wing wall with the installation of soil nails and replacement of the existing drainage pipe at the top of the wing wall. There are also structures on SR 0219 & 0271 that will include the removal and replacement of the strip seal glands at the near and far abutments. All above work is to be completed and include other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 0219, SECTION 045 in CAMBRIA COUNTY, CAMBRIA & EAST CARROLL TOWNSHIPS.
