4 What is HANDYWOOD? Wood-plastic composite material (recycled material reusing unused lumber and recycled plastics.) A material that combines the good parts of wood and plastics Superior characteristics for users and designers A multi-recycling system (1) Wood-plastic composite material (recycled material reusing unused lumber and recycled plastics.) 7 HANDYWOOD features High quality and eco-material combined material Wood accounts for 70% in terms of volume ratio, thus, makes it possible to feel as natural wood. No burning, No dumping, multi-recycling system. 9 HANDYWOOD features Durability Weatherability Also excellent on water-proof performance, thus it does not rot, separate nor degrade The rate of a dimensional change of water absorption and moisture absorption is excellent compared with native wood material or other synthetic wood. No damage of decay fungi such as a mushroom generated in natural wood, nor damage of a termite. Has a cross-section which holds retentivity of the screw high and is hard to crack from where screw has been nailed. Precautions for use There may be a chance that grinding sludge to remain on the product s surface, and its color may be migrated in rare cases, if it is left adhere to other things Please do not light a fire or heat something up on the product as there is a danger that it may catch a fire or change the shape as same as natural wood. Please use the sole plate etc to disperse the weight when placing a heavy load on this product. Please do not give a strong impact on the surface, handle it roughly, nor use it for other than its purpose as there is a danger of damaging it. When organic solvents and oil, such as kerosene and gasoline, adhere to the product surface, please wipe off immediately since it becomes a factor of discoloration and modification.

10 Recognition of HANDYWOOD HANDYWOOD has been approved and certified as an Eco Mark product for the following reasons, such as no burning, no dumping, multi-recycling system material, and environmental impact is minimal throughout the product life cycle. Thus, it will be useful for the environmental preservation. Safety In order to be certified as an Eco Mark product, there are examinations to examine whether the product contains toxic chemicals or eluting out. HANDYWOOD had neither containing nor eluting out of toxic chemicals and has been proved its safety. Moreover, it has been admitted to use not only exterior material but interior material as it did not discharge formaldehyde.
