[ ] Sheet # The maximum riser height shall be 7 ¾ and minimum tread depth shall be 10. IRC Section: The minimum headroom shall be not less than 6 8 measured vertically from the R slope plane adjoining the tread nosing or from the floor surface of the landing or R platform. ELEVATIONS [ ] Sheet # Provide exterior detail of all sides, indicating wall covering including anchoring IRC Section: method and backing (ICC ES #, if applicable). 4 STRUCTURAL [ ] Sheet # Specify type of design and construction of all walls and partitions. Wood stud IRC Sections: walls shall comply with IRC Section R602, steel framing with IRC Section 603 R404, R602 masonry walls shall comply with IRC Section R606 R609, concrete walls with R603, R611 IRC Section 611 or shall be designed by a Missouri Design Professional. [ ] Sheet # Indicate all braced wall panel locations. Specify the method of bracing to be used. The floor drain shall comply with R306.6 Chapter 27 of the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings. [ ] Sheet # Each hose bibb shall have a backflow preventer installed. See IRC P IRC Section: Water hammer arrestors are required at quick-closing valves. (dishwashers, P clothes washers etc.). [ ] Sheet # Appliances located in a garage or carport shall be protected from impact by auto- IRC Section: mobiles by a curb 4 high and 3 deep, a minimum 3 steel pipe bollard installed M a minimum of 18 below and a minimum of 44 above the finished floor in front of the equipment or a wall. MECHANICAL [ ] Sheet # Provide a complete mechanical plan showing the locations of all HVAC equipment IRC Section: Mechanical equipment and appliances must be sized per ACCA Manual S and or R106.1 Manual J. M [ ] Sheet # Provide exhaust fans to the outside or to vented soffit or gable vent from bathrooms, IRC Section: water closet compartments, and similar rooms if not supplied with natural ventilation. M303.3, M See also M [ ] Sheet # Provide combustion air for all gas-fired appliances including size, type and location IRC Section: of openings. G2407 [ ] Sheet # Attics containing appliances shall be provided with an opening and passageway large IRC Section: enough to remove the largest appliance and not more than 20 in length. A level M service space at least 30 deep and 30 wide shall be present along the access M sides of the appliance. A luminaire controlled by a switch at the required opening and a receptacle outlet shall be installed at or near the appliance. [ ] Sheet # The clothes dryer exhaust duct shall be at least the diameter of the appliance out- IRC Section: let and shall terminate on the outside of the building. In the absence of such install- M ation procedures, the manufacturer s instructions shall be followed. The minimum provisions shall be the code. ELECTRICAL [ ] Sheet # Provide a complete electric plan. Indicate the size (rating) and location of the electric IRC Section: panel, including any sub panels (s). Provide Electrical Load Calculations to R106.1 substantiate SES rating. (E3602.2) E3401 [ ] Sheet # Provide an approved grounding electrode system. Bond all interior water and IRC Section: gas piping. E3608, E3609 [ ] Sheet # All branch circuits that supply 120-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20-ampere outlets IRC Section: installed in sleeping areas and bedrooms shall be protected by an arc-fault circuit E interrupter installed to provide protection of the entire branch circuit. In areas E specified in section E3901.1, 125-volt, 15 and 20 ampere receptacles shall be listed tamper-resistant receptacles. [ ] Sheet # Receptacles shall be installed so that no point along the floor line in any wall space IRC Section: is more than 6 measured horizontally, from an outlet in that space, including any E wall space 2 or more in width. 15- and 20-amper receptacles must be listed as E tamper-resistant.
