Our products are the ideal alternative for concrete and brick-built chambers. We offer two types of modular composite chambers: QuadBox, a stackable segmental system ideally suited to telecom networks. RadBox, a versatile and fully modular interlocking panels and corners system, for use in any type of civil engineering project. Construction is rapid with no need for concrete backfill in most cases. Users can complete a chamber from excavation to reinstatement on a single visit. Load Bearing QuadBox and RadBox are manufactured to Class B125 of BS EN124:1994 which means they are suitable for non-carriageway applications in car parks and pedestrian areas where there is no heavy vehicle access. QuadBox 1310mm is certified to Class C250 for non-carriageway applications including areas with slow moving heavy traffic. Box Furniture A range of steps, cable bearers and brackets is available for both chamber types. QuadBox furniture has a plug-in mechanism. RadBox furniture is bolt-on. Plastic floors, including dropin type, are also available and can be supplied prefitted if required. Health and Safety QuadBox and RadBox systems offer significant health and safety benefits: Lifting Weights The chambers are lightweight with the heaviest section weighing less than 20kg. This complies with current European manual handling best practice guidelines and removes the need for lifting equipment. Dust and Vibration Duct entries are cut with a standard holesaw with minimum vibration, and the chamber material being inert, presents no health risk to operatives or members of the public. Chemicals Preformed chambers reduce exposure to concrete and other on-site chemicals. Frames and Covers Radius supplies a range of frames and covers in concrete or ductile iron to suit relevant applications. Rising frames which facilitate changes in pavement height are also available.

4 QuadBox Access Chamber QuadBox is a robust preformed underground access chamber system offering fast and easy installation. A lightweight stacking system made from 150mm high ring sections, QuadBox offers great depth versatility. Applications QuadBox is suitable for use in all types of buried networks and utilities. It is ideally suited to telecom networks and is the first modular joint box system to be approved by BT for use in its national network. QuadBox can be used for both new build and retrofit. The modular design of QuadBox makes it perfect for retrofitting on existing ducted networks. Chambers can also be benched to avoid existing services and duct entries can be cut in any location. Built-in Strength QuadBox provides a reliable system with preformed quality and strength. It is moulded from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) using structural foam moulding techniques. HDPE has excellent chemical resistance and mouldings are stress-free with excellent side wall stiffness. Single Visit Installation QuadBox has immediate load bearing strength and offers single visit installation, with no need for concrete backfill. Installation can be completed in less than two hours and does not require a specialist or skilled building team. Installation instructions and technical backup are available. Unique Drop-in Furniture Furniture fitting could not be easier. Simply place steps, cable bearers and brackets into ready-made pockets within the chamber. Duct Entries Duct entries are also simple to achieve using a standard holesaw mounted on a cordless drill.
