6 Factory Built Structures Services Commercial and Residential Modular Services NTA s engineers have earned over 200 licenses and certifications in order to perform modular inspections in every state with a modular program. Recently, NTA, Inc. partnered with Intertek, giving them the ability to perform modular inspections for Canada. Inspectors ensure that all elements of the modular construction are meeting National Building Code requirements. NTA, Inc. continues to partner with the Modular Building Systems Association (MBSA) to stay abreast of consumer demands and industry news. As an independent indoor air quality assurance and testing agency, NTA is capable of providing a wide range of inspection and testing services for your project, including all FEMA and government agency projects. 8 Why NTA s Testing Facility Companies that need a way to professionally, precisely and accurately test their products or materials in a controlled laboratory environment will often choose to hire an independent laboratory testing facility because of the expertise and specialized technology they will usually have for meeting a variety of laboratory testing needs. Laboratory testing facilities will usually offer a number of different services to their customers including product testing, reverse engineering, lab management, product failure investigations and raw material certification using the latest in laboratory testing technology. 9 NTA Product Certification NTA, Inc. Product Certification program is recognized and accredited by the International Accreditation Service Inc (IAS) a subsidiary of ICC. NTA, Inc. (PCA-102) is accredited to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 65 General requirements for bodies operation a product certification systems. NTA Product Certification Program evaluates products and documentation, and certifies that the listed product is in compliance with NTA and nationally recognized standards. A Listing Report is issued along with a unique listing mark and number. NTA makes available on the NTA web site copies of specific listing reports to assist designers, users, and code officials in the use of the listed building product. The Product Certification Process is described in NTA ISSOP 3.2c and is available upon request. On going follow up audits by NTA at the manufactures facilities checks that the listed product continues to meet the product certification report throughout the listing period.
