Waters & Farr FarmFlow LDPE provides a higher pressure rating than required under NZS7601, suitable for use with active bloat treatments. It is tough and kink resistant, long lasting and resistant to water pressure surges. Long coil lengths require less jointing, so is very easy to install. 9 Farmboss pipe FARMBOSS PIPE FARMBOSS IS THE BENCHMARK IN RURAL CULVERT AND DRAINAGE PIPING. HERE S A PRODUCT THAT TICKS ALL THE BOXES WHEN IT COMES TO TOUGH RURAL DRAINAGE APPLICATIONS. FarmBoss, part of the outstanding Bosspipe range, is an extruded twin wall pipe. It features a smooth internal bore and a load defeating corrugated exterior wall. 11 FARMBOSS : key applications FARMBOSS : KEY APPLICATIONS FarmBoss is the answer for virtually any rural drainage application, including: Farm and forestry culverts Dairy shed runoffs Field drainage Stream diversion INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS You ll find all installation practices for buried flexible pipelines are given in AS/NZS For general guidelines the trench should be excavated to a bed width ensuring sufficient clearance (lc) between the pipe and trench walls. Recommended minimum dimensions of the trench width are detailed in the table below or can be downloaded from the Waters & Farr website at MINIMUM TRENCH WIDTH (B) DN 225 : 0.56 m DN 300 : 0.75 m DN 375 : 0.84 m DN 450 : 1.13 m LOADING CONDITIONS The embedment of FarmBoss in normal soil should be of granular material, free from rocks and other hard or sharp objects, with the maximum particle size of 20 mm preferably in the particle size range of 14 mm. The recommended minimum thickness of compacted bedding (l b ) is 100 mm for sizes up to DN 375 mm, and 150 mm for DN 450 mm. To ensure good support to the bedding, side supports and overlay to a minimum thickness (l o ) of 150 mm are constructed, compacting the bedding material in layers of not more than 150 mm.
