GUARDIAN UltraMirror is an ecologically friendly product exceeding all existing quality requirements set by the European mirror norm EN Appearance GUARDIAN UltraMirror is highly reflective and offers a true image reflectance with virtually no distortion. Environmentally friendly It respects the environment with a copper-free manufacturing process and a reduced lead content protective paint (<0.5%). Quality Copper-free manufacturing process enhances mirror protection against corrosion. It offers up to 3 times more protection than conventional mirror (in accordance with ISO 3770). Heat resistance It can be used in environments up to 60 C. Proximity with a strong heat source must be avoided. Moisture resistance If installation norm EN 1036 is respected, the mirror can be used in an environment where moisture is present (e.g. in a bathroom). Scratch resistant It is also available in DiamondGuard version, in which glass side is more resistant to scratches than ordinary float glass. Safety GUARDIAN UltraMirror is available in two safety versions, with safety film and on LamiGlass for a superior protection. As with float glass, GUARDIAN UltraMirror must be stored in a dry environment. The edges of the product must be protected and contact with chemical products must be avoided. As ordinary mirror, it must be stored vertically. It can be cut on the glass side and used in different fabrication processes (drilling, grinding, etc.). Installation must be performed following installation norm EN A neutral silicon (free of solvent) or a double-sided adhesive can be used (a list of compatible products is available upon request). It can be easily washed using a clean cloth with a standard and non-abrasive glass-cleaning product. In case of breakage, the glass remains fixed to a safety film, reducing the chance of injury. Safety GUARDIAN UltraMirror with safety film reduces the chance of injury and damage due to glass breakage by using a safety film that is designed to hold broken fragments together. It can be used in many applications: display cases, decorative walls, ceiling or pillar covers, partitions, etc. This product is suitable for interior rooms where the highest safety standards are required, for public as private places (shopping centres, schools, swimming pools, fitness centres, hospitals, etc.). Safety GUARDIAN UltraMirror on LamiGlass offers increased protection against injury and damage in case of breakage. 6 SHOWERGUARD GUARDIAN ShowerGuard is the first and only shower glass that provides permanent protection against corrosion and discoloration. GUARDIAN has developed a patented technology that seals the glass surface against corrosion, creating an easy-to-clean surface that will maintain its original appearance for years to come. Easier to clean The surface of GUARDIAN ShowerGuard glass is treated with a patented ion-beam deposition process to seal the surface against attack from chemicals and shower contaminants, allowing your glass to remain smooth and easy to clean. ShowerGuard doesn t require special after-care products or coating replenishment. A soft cloth or a wet sponge is all you need for periodic maintenance. GUARDIAN LamiGlass Deco brings colours, light and safety in the decorative and architectural world. It can be used in many applications: windows, decorative wall, ceiling, pillar, stairs etc. This product is suitable for exterior and interior, for public and private places, where the highest safety standards are required (shopping centres, universities, swimming pools, fitness centres, hospitals, etc.). Safety GUARDIAN LamiGlass Deco offers increased protection against injuries and damages in case of breakage. It is manufactured with a highly resistant coloured PVB interlayer that is designed to hold broken glass fragments together.
