Very early we discovered that an innovative and efficient PV assembly system is not in existence and still needs to be developed. A systematic market research showed that both contractors and users would take huge advantage if the roofing were completely replaced by solar panels. With this idea in mind we have developed a new esthetical state-of-the-art photovoltaic architecture and brought it to manufacturing. Here it is: S2plus, the fully building integrated PV system! FATH Solar has developed a groundbreaking new production technology for the framing of photovoltaic laminates. The S2plus modules are manufactured using bonding adhesive technology, which has been successfully employed by the automotive industry for many years. This technology provides enormous advantages for the design of the modules and therefore opens new possibilities of integrating the modules into the roof. The System S2plus is not only easy and fast to assemble, it also creates a smooth and, in terms of appearance, homogenous roof surface with the narrowest gaps for a fantastic look.
