10 STRUCTURAL CONSIDERATIONS 10 PHASE I Feasibility Study Review of existing drawings & visual observation Findings/Recommendations February 2016: Evidence of building settlement Recommended crack monitoring of the music room wall Recommended repair/replacement of the music room slab Further investigation as design progresses PHASE II Additional Investigation Preliminary Update Enhanced building inspection Installed crack monitors monitoring current through October 2017 Scheduled geotechnical testing near music classroom and new elevators Findings/Recommendations July 2016: No evidence of any portion of the building moving towards the pond Needed results from geotechnical testing for final analysis PHASE III Additional Investigation Continued enhanced building and site inspection Performed geotechnical testing (borings and test pits) Findings/Recommendations August 2016: Proposed the installation of structural piles under the music wall and slab Reported all structural concerns are correctable and will be rectified in the renovation. PHASE IV Construction Documents 2017 Include repairs of settlement issues, crack locations, and bowing wall.

12 SCOPE OF WORK - CURRICULUM 12 Original Project Renovate every classroom: new technology, TV monitor, marker boards, flooring, doors, ceiling and millwork Classroom designed for 1 to 1 tablet use by students Renovate library / media center including new digital learning classroom Renovate all art classrooms, food / nutrition lab Renovate administrative, guidance offices, health suite Renovate girls locker rooms Renovate technology education classrooms New TV studio 100% ADA accessibility throughout the building at every level New auditorium seating and flooring. Expanded Scope of Work Add two classrooms Auditorium upgrades including new theatrical lighting and sound system, acoustical panels, and new exterior metal panels New dance studio and sound system New recording studio New gymnasium sound system Add photovoltaic solar panel with teaching display Renovate boys locker room
