1 High resistance and low maintenance costs The Square flooring solution is an excellent choice from both functional and economic points of view. The 0.8 mm PURreinforced PVC wear layer gives good resistance to static indentation, abrasion, scuffing and tearing. It also means less cleaning and maintenance no wax and no polish throughout the flooring s lifetime. Maintenance cost can be reduced by up to 30%. And since 92% of the flooring s total life cycle cost is for maintenance, substantial saving can be made. The Sanitized treatment protects the floorcovering from premature ageing caused by micro-organisms, and also gives hygiene benefits in sensitive areas. The improved cleaning characteristics are beneficial to the environment, because they greatly reduce the need for water and chemicals. The loose laying system also brings many environmental benefits. The flooring material is installed without adhesive. In refurbishment projects, the old loose-laid flooring can simply be lifted out and recycled in a suitable way.

Top performance and design In our Square range we have combined contemporary design effects with top flooring performance including comfort underfoot, excellent wear resistance, low-maintenance properties and the benefits of loose laying. The flooring s outstanding acoustic properties help reduce impact sound and ambient noise. Colours and patterns can easily be combined with each other, or with Tecsom carpet tiles, to create appealing interiors for modern offices. Loose laying saves time and money Square from Tarkett is a loose-lay flooring and therefore an extremely smart and flexible solution that does not compromise on the result. The loose laying cuts down labour and adhesive consumption in the installation phase. Tiles can be replaced whenever necessary, and the system also gives easy access to the subfloor, e.g. for cable work. The most labour- and time-consuming process in refurbishment projects is stripping out the existing floorcovering and preparing the subfloor. With loose laying this is completely avoided. The whole flooring assembly is simply lifted out and sent for recycling. The area is also out of use for less time.
