The Employer to choose tiles from one of Zotos nominated suppliers. Should the employer wish to select tiles from another supplier, the Employer is then responsible for the delivery of these tiles to site, as well as for the payment of these tiles directly to the supplier. The Contractor will pass the relevant credit to the Employer on completion of the house.

6 NOTES: GENERAL IMPORTANT NOTES: Should any of the specified material not be available when required, the Contractor has the right to use the nearest equivalent material available. Changes to the plans will be charged to the Employer as per Architects rates, Engineers fees and Municipal charges where applicable. In the event of any discrepancy between the specifications and the working drawings, the specifications shall always have preference over the working drawings. The Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all rocks and trees that are excavated for the foundations. The Contractor will remove all builders rubble. The Contractor is not responsible for the removal of any rocks or trees that are already on site. The Employer is responsible for the timeous payment of the electricity and water deposits to the relevant local authority. All materials are to be supplied and /or fitted by one of Zotos preferred/ nominated suppliers/ contractors. No work on site is to be carried out by the Employer without the written consent of the Contractor. All listed prices are inclusive of VAT. No Credit will be given for any labour cost that is not required by the Employer. Should the Employer require work to be done in or about the building by another contractor it is clearly understood that: 1. The consent of the Contractor must be obtained in writing for any person other than those employed by the Contractor to carry out work on the site. 2. An amount equal to 20% of the value of the work to be done shall accrue to the Contractor, and an appropriate variation order shall be signed confirming the above before the written consent will be given. 3. The Employer shall be responsible for any additional expenses, damages and/ or delays that will be incurred by the Contractor as a result of such outside contractors. The Show Unit represents the Zotos standard quality of workmanship; however the finishes therein may differ from the contents of this Schedule of Finishes. This Schedule of Finishes overrides all previous and other schedules of finishes.
