Resistant to Stains Resistant to Knocks Resistant to Scratching Silestone is a quartz surface that is highly resistant to staining from coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, make-up and many other everyday products. Resistant to Acids The high level of resistance of Silestone quartz worktops to knocks, far surpasses that of other products with similar applications (granite, solid surfaces, etc). This resistance and durability provides peace of mind in the kitchen. Quartz has a hardness of 7 in the Mohs hardness scale (diamond is number 10).
