Because the K-30 Key is used to join and wedge aluminum panels it is often referred to as a 2 key system. A nail hole is provided for shortstopping, effectively shortening the length of the key allowing the user to tighten the joint. K-28 KEY (LONG) HS LB d to connect steel fillers to aluminum panels and held in place with the Wedge W-7. Because the K-28 Key is used in conjunction with the Wedge W-7 it is often referred to as a key and wedge system. The two nail holes on the K-28 Key (long key) provide for shortstopping when connecting steel fillers, allowing the user to tighten the joint for 1 1/2 and 1 fillers. WEDGE W-7 HS906.2 LB Combines with the K-28 Key to connect steel fillers to aluminum panels. Also used in situations where the K-30 Key (when used vertically as a wedge) will not tighten the joint. FORM ALIGNER BRACE LB Nails to 2x4 brace and is staked into the ground on the bent plate side allowing for plumbing of the wall, column or beam. Commonly referred to as a turnbuckle brace the Form Aligner Brace has a 5-1/2 adjustable length; when closed the length is 38-1/2 and 44 when open. COLUMN LIFT ANGLE HX716 6 LB Connects to the outside corner of a column form for lifting with a crane. Attaches with fit up nut and bolt and are placed in pairs diagonally on a column form for lifting with a crane. Each angle is rated at 1000 lbs. lifting load with a 4:1 safety factor, based on the ultimate strength of the steel plate. COLUMN CADDY HS LB Assists in the moving of large columns. Column caddy is positioned at the hinged corner of the column so when stripped, the column can be placed onto the caddy such that the open end faces outward allowing it to be moved to the next position. The fit-up bolt and nut for round column forms and to attach round column forms to handset panels is 5/8 rather than 1/2. FORM ALIGNER BRACE LB Allows for plumbing of the column. Commonly referred to as a turnbuckle brace the Form Aligner Brace has a 5-1/2 adjustable length; when closed the length is 38-1/2 and 44 when open. Two options for the use of the form aligner brace are 1) a single unit attaches to the top collar of the column form and then is attached to a 2x4 that is driven into the ground, 2) 2 form aligner braces are used, one at each end of the 2x4, one bolted to the top collar of the column form and the other staked into the ground 16 BUILDING HAWAII SINCE 1961
