Proudly providing high-quality service since Since 1924, the Herchenbach company has been hiring and selling lightweight structures. At first, we specialised in the construction of structures for celebrations and events. Today, Herchenbach specialises in the construction of lightweight aluminium buildings for industry and trade. Herchenbach has been an owner-run company since Our company s most important goal is not only to uphold the high quality standards of our lightweight structures, but also to provide our customers with comprehensive advice and support. Our lightweight buildings are supported by our Heba-Fix aluminium structures with patent-protected steel inserts. Our lightweight structures satisfy the highest quality requirements and conform with the latest DIN and Euro standards. Our TÜV-inspected Heba-Fix static plans are designed for permanent structures in accordance with EN Snow loads up to 1.35 kn / m² and wind loads up to 1.0 kn/m² are possible. Our Heba-Fix structures offer maximum flexibility and mobility along with the stability of a fixed construction. Our self-supporting structures have a suspended width of 5 to 25 m. Greater widths are possible with several aisles. The eave heights range from 3.40 to 6.40 m. Occupational health and safety based on the AMS BAU (NLF/ILO-OSH 2001) The BG BAU certifies that Herchenbach has met all the requirements of systematic and effective occupational health and safety protection. 4 HERCHENBACH

5 Company The side walls can be designed with tarpaulins, trapezoidal sheet metal or insulating sandwich panels. The roofs can be tarpaulins, trapezoidal sheet metal or our patent-protected Heba-Therm roof tarpaulins the latter enabling us to achieve excellent values in terms of heat, cold and soundproofing, and thus combine the advantages of a flexible tarpaulin with the insulating properties of the sandwich panels. We offer a wide range of accessories, including gates, doors and windows. From the simple sliding gate to the high-speed gate for the highest demands, we always have the right solution for our customers. Herchenbach also provides lighting, heating and air conditioning for your temporary structures. 2 Our lightweight buildings are available for hire or purchase. On expiry of the hire contract, we will be happy to offer you an interesting purchase option. It is entirely up to you whether you extend your contract once it expires, return the structure or decide to purchase it. We will also supply you with financing support via a leasing provider. Herchenbach offers you complete and comprehensive support, from the first consultation to the flawless project management. We support you in your application for floating structures, in drawing up construction applications, as well as designing fire prevention concepts. 7 Heba-Fix Heba-Fix Lightweight structures by Herchenbach Cost-effective The construction can be erected without foundations on almost all surfaces. The assembly is fast and cheap due to the light aluminium structure and the standardised roof and side wall panelling. Durable Our TÜV-inspected static plans are designed for permanent structures in accordance with EN Snow loads up to 1.35 kn/m² and wind loads up to 1.0 kn/m² are possible. They thus satisfy the requirements for the granting of a construction permit. Higher loads are possible on request. Multifunctional The possible uses of our lightweight structures as a storage structure, sales structure, production or repair garage structure, airport check-in structure, assembly structure or as a sport and riding structure are practically unlimited. Maintenance- and wear-free The bracing technique of our roof and wall tarpaulins makes them maintenance- and wear-free. It enables a constant bracing pressure and prevents the formation of water bulges in the roof area. Innovative Our innovative solutions expand the possible uses for lightweight structures. 10 Heba-Fix Herchenbach lightweight structures one product, many designs We offer our lightweight structures as industrial structure, lightweight structure with fixed roof and lightweight structure with office. Industrial temporary building Our product range with a PVC tent roof. This version offers the maximum cost effectiveness and mobility. With an additional PVC inside tarpaulin we offer protection against condensation for the interior. Our patent-protected Heba-Therm roof tarpaulin offers additional heat, cold and sound protection. Lightweight structure with fixed roof Our Heba-Fix aluminium structure can also be given a roof of trapezoidal sheet metal or insulating sandwich panels. The structure then satisfies higher fire prevention requirements and offers improved heat insulation. The advantages of the industrial tents in terms of cost effectiveness, flexibility, mobility and assembly speed compared to a fixed steel construction remain unchanged. Lightweight structure with office On a project basis, we also offer you for all our structure types the integration of an office complex for the construction of a combined office and trade structure. This is a cost-effective integration of the offices in the lightweight structure. They have a flexible floor plan and furnishings. The office complex can be integrated in the lightweight structure irrespective of the weather. This takes less time to produce. There are low requirements of the substrate as, depending on the type of use of the structure, a complete concrete slab is not needed. When the site changes its use, the structure can be easily dismantled. 10 HERCHENBACH

Herchenbach offers you service from one provider, from the first consultation to the assembly and maintenance. Assembly We take care of the complete assembly of your structure from the transport, to the structure assembly, the installation of doors, gates and windows or the suspension of lighting right through to the laying of the floor. Don t worry your structure is in capable hands. Our supervisors and technicians will ensure that everything runs smoothly. Approval process Whether you want to apply for a temporary building for short-term use or for a construction permit for long-term projects, we ll provide you with the necessary documents. We offer TÜV-inspected static plans and current inspection books including static plans for every structure type. If you need support in the approval process, our experts can offer you a complete service from the construction application to the fire prevention concept. Commissioning and extensions Do you want to commission, change or extend your structure? Just give us a call. 13 Service Transport If desired, you can of course pick up our structures yourself ex works. But the majority of our customers make use of our transport service. We deliver the lightweight structures rapidly and reliably with our own vehicles or with our partner shipping companies. Maintenance and repair While manoeuvering with the forklift truck, a tarpaulin was torn, a piece of sheet metal dented or a structure damaged? No problem for our maintenance and repair teams. We stock all spare parts so that they are instantly available. Our teams repair most tarpaulins on site. Development Special gates for an aircraft hangar, special gate heights for special vehicles, dust-proof structures, special lighting concepts, high-speed gates for demanding requirements in the logistics sector our technical department and partners will be happy to help you develop individual solutions to solve your company s problems. 20 Wall panels Wall panels The wall designs of Herchenbach lightweight structures all have one thing in common: they are particularly high-quality and maintenance-free. Industrial tarpaulin, trapezoidal sheet metal or insulated panels we choose the right solution for you. We ll create the ideal wall panelling to suit your requirements. The industrial tarpaulin offers a cost-effective weather protection privacy screen that also provides good lighting conditions in the structure. The robust trapezoidal sheet metal is burglar-proof and ideal for withstanding a high level of daily stress. If the structure needs to be heated or cooled, our insulated panels with heat transmission coefficients of up to 0.31 W/m²K are used. For special applications, we can also supply our structures with special acoustic panels for soundproofing, as well as fire prevention panels. Other special wall panelling is available on request. All wall panels can be supplied in a range of RAL colours and wall thicknesses depending on the customer s needs. If an element is damaged, the wall elements can be quickly and cheaply replaced. The depiction of the RAL colours is subject to the consent of RAL GmbH, Sankt Augustin, Germany. The RAL designation is trademarked. 22 Roof panels Roof panels Herchenbach lightweight structures have roofing solutions to suit every need: roof tarpaulins with and without condensation protection, fixed roofs or our Heba-Therm roof tarpaulins with excellent insulation and soundproofing properties. Tarpaulin or fixed roof Our industrial tarpaulin roofs are not only much more cost-effective than fixed roofs; in comparison to fixed roofs, they also offer a range of other advantages: they are translucent and let light into your lightweight structure, they are quick to assemble, easy to replace in the event of damage and, if the structure is moved or dismantled, they are completely reusable. A tarpaulin is inserted inside or underneath to protect against condensation. If construction regulations or practical considerations make it necessary, we can make your lightweight structure roof out of trapezoidal sheet metal or insulated panels. Insulated Heba-Therm roof tarpaulin Heba-Fix structures can also be optionally fitted with a patent-protected Heba-Therm roof tarpaulin, which offers excellent insulation values of up to 0.2 W / m² K. This not only significantly reduces your energy costs for heating or cooling your industrial tents, but also offers additional soundproofing. The depiction of the RAL colours is subject to the consent of RAL GmbH, Sankt Augustin, Germany. The RAL designation is trademarked. For structures with large spans, the Heba-Therm tarpaulin is only used in the roof, and for smaller structures it s also used in the side walls. It is inserted in the aluminium structure and doesn t require any maintenance. Of course, we can provide proof of flame resistance for the combination of tarpaulin and insulating material in accordance with EN HERCHENBACH 1 Details of our roof constructions: the roofs of a double-aisle structure are connected by a zinc coated valley gutter, which catches rainwater on the sides due to a slight gradient. The electrical connections power the heating of the gutters designed to melt ice and snow. 2 A tarpaulin roof without inside tarpaulin gives you a clear view of the purlins and wind bracing.

24 Doors and gates Doors and gates There are practically no limitations when it comes to doors and gates. In addition to our extensive standard range, we are also happy to design special solutions to suit your needs. Steel and glass doors 2 1, 3-4 Our standard multi-purpose doors with single and double wings are integrated by our assembly technicians in the side walls. 26 Windows Windows If your tarpaulin roofs don t let in enough light, we ll be happy to build any kind of windows into the side walls of your lightweight structure. We have a wide range of windows. We ll be happy to advise you. Welded windows of transparent film are ideal for lightweight structures with tarpaulin side walls. One cost-effective and efficient solution for trapezoidal sheet metal structures is transparent plastic panels (window strips). For instance, we can integrate tilt and turn windows with double glazing in our insulated panels. You can choose from the whole range of windows, including glazing with burglarproof safety glass. Trapezoidal sheet metal (transparent) Transparent plastic panels are a cost-effective and easy to assemble solution to supply additional light to trapezoidal sheet metal structures. Windows Double-wing tilt and turn windows in a gable wall with insulated panels. Integrated into the warehouse is an office block with more than 400 m² including an entrance area consisting of a three-bladed glass door and a steel awning. 26 HERCHENBACH

27 Floors Floors In many cases, Herchenbach lightweight structures are easily erected on a fixed substrate. If necessary, we can also deliver and lay a floor for your structure. Our standard range offers everything, from a simple wooden floor to a heavyduty floor that is accessible for forklift trucks. Our wooden floor is mostly used in canteens or sales structures. The heavy-duty floor that is accessible for forklift trucks is an alternative to paving or asphalt in the storage sector. It can be laid in a sand bed on compacted gravel. The heavy-duty OSB floor is mostly used in sales structures where the shelving causes high load concentrations. We can offer further floor types after a detailed consultation. The production of complex concrete foundations is not necessary for the erection of the structure.

28 Accessories Accessories Lighting, rain gutters, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and safety systems our range of accessories has everything you need. Your lightweight structure isn t complete without lighting, rain gutters, heating systems, air conditioning, impact protection or escape route lighting. In a detailed consultation, we will determine with you which accessory systems make sense for your application. We will take care of delivery, setting up and assembly. If your requirements are not covered by our standard range, we will look for the right system for you from those that are available on the market. Lighting Prismatic light fittings with 2 x 55 W are our standard lighting system. If you would like to generate certain Lux values or would like a different lighting system, please contact us.
