Legal Description: The pit is legally described as that part of District Lot 443 together with that tract of land in the vicinity of District Lot 433, Cariboo. Geographic coordinates are UTM 10, Easting, Northing. 6 Aggregate Quality: A summary of aggregate quality tests performed on pit run samples from the tested area are as follows: Granular Volume: TP or Year Micro-Deval (%) (C/F) Sand Equivalent (%) Bulk Relative Density (C/F) Absorption (%) (C/F) / / / / Estimated Volume: 85,000 m 3 The Estimated Volume has been determined by multiplying the surface area of the mining area (1.8ha) by an average depth of 4.7 metres. Pit Development and Recommendations: The mining area and aggregate stockpile site have been previously developed by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI). Any additional development will be the responsibility of the contractor and shall be completed as per the pit development plan or as directed by the Ministry Representative. Any stripping of overburden, if needed, can be placed within existing overburden stockpiles located east of TP and near TP on the upper bench as indicated on the pit development plan. The crusher is recommended to be located at the base of the slope near Test Pit as identified on the pit development plan, with mining proceeding in a northeasterly direction as indicated. SM3 was encountered at the base of slope on a small elevated bench located immediately north of the crusher location. In order to avoid contamination with underlying SM3 it is suggested that mining commence at the base of the elevated bench. The use of a bulldozer to push mining material to the crusher location is also suggested to avoid the SM3 and an excessively high relief pit face. Processed aggregate may be stockpiled to the south of the crusher location as indicated on the pit development plan. Any stripping of overburden, if needed, can be placed on the east side of the pit as indicated on the pit development. At the completion of mining, active pit faces shall be sloped to a minimum of 1 ½:1 with pit run granular material. All reject materials resulting from aggregate production are to be placed in separate stockpiles free from deleterious material and in an easily accessible location. No 6
