16 Underground Equipment Aqua Energy Group designs, engineers, and manufactures substations and switchgear for underground coal and hard rock mining. We offer IP56 or IP66 rated switchgear for underground applications. Our LV and MV switchboards are built to a high standard to ensure safety and customer confidence in the unlikely event of an arc event. Our underground switchgear solutions include: Conveyor control and production machinery Pumps, conveyors and motor starters Section isolators Distribution switchgear Development substations. Our designs encompass voltages of 22kV, 11kv, 3.3kV, 1100V, 690V and 415V. We use oil and dry type nitrogen blanketed transformers in sealed tanks - ranging from 0.75MVA to 7.0MVA - for integration into substation packages. Our mobile substations feature solid rubber wheels and tow hitches, complete with spring lift assistance. Substation and switchgear equipment can include automation packages encompassing hardware, software and communication protocols that seamlessly interface into mine-wide SCADA systems. We also offer underground variable speed drive packaged solutions, air or water cooled, typically for conveyor operations. 16

20 Heavy Vehicle Wash Our vehicle wash units are designed to take the manual labour out of washing mine vehicles both small and large by the use of automation. Automation is the key to time efficiency and power saving. Our product has been tested and proven in many situations in the mining industry. These units also have a water recycle program so that water is not wasted and so the sediment that comes from the wash is discharged in an environmentally friendly way.
