Introduction of Products : Cement Type 2 : This type of has similar mixture of raw material with Portland, but because the phase amount is less than 8%, it has moderate resistance to sulphate attack (C3A). Physical Specification Blaine Autoclave Setting Time (min) Compressive Strength (kg/cm 2 ) (cm 2 /gr) Expansion Initial Final 3 Days 7 Days 28 Days Cement 2900 < ±20 250±20 200±20 280±20 300± < C 3 A % 21± ± ±0.2 62± ± ± ± ± ±0.3 6± According to national standards, chemical and physical characteristics of type 2 comes as follows : -Combinations of chloride and sulfate corrosion resistance and reduction of corrosion against reinforced concrete -Less cracking in concrete due to the low heat of hydration -Resistance to alkali-destructive reactions -Increasing of concrete longevity due to continuation of resistances
Cement Type 1 : The company follows national standards for Physical and Chemical properties (1-425, I-42.5) and EN standards which come as follows :Physical Specification ISIRI EN Blaine Soundness(Expansion) Setting Time(min) Compressive Strength (kg/cm 2 ) (cm 2 /gr) Initial Final 2 Days 7 Days 28 Days 2900 < 0.15% 150±10 250±20 200± ± <3mm 150±10 250±20 20MPa± MPa± < 0.8% EN <10mm Cl C3A 21± ± ±0.2 64± ± ± ± ± ±0.3 7±0.5 EN This type of is in the middle category that maintains the chemical properties of high strength type 2 ( ). Mortar or concrete in sulfate environment had a moderate resistance. The other features of this product is that it can reduce the consumption of in order to achieve a constant strength concrete and is more durable than concrete made with Minimum compressive strength of the concrete at the ages of 2 and 28 days are respectively, 200 and 460 kg cm square.
Cement type 5 : The Portland is an anti-sulfate ( anti- dandruff ) which is used in the absence of highstrength concrete. The is used in dam-building projects, bridges, foundations, underground water channel with high sulfate. The rate of C3A phase is lower than other. Autoclave is present for 14 days at very low sulfate expansion. High pressure is another characteristic of type 5 Chemical and physical properties of type 5 by manufacturing company is based on national standards (EN) which come as follows : Physical Specification Blaine Autoclave Soundness (mm) Setting Time (min) Compressive strength (kg/cm 2 ) (MPa) (cm 2 /gr) Expansion Initial Final 2 Days 3 Days 7 Days 28 Days Cement 2900 < ±20 250±20 140±10 (14±1) 200±20 (20±2) 300±10 (30±2) 400±10 (40±2) ISIRI < BS EN MPa ( %) Cl C3A C4AF+2C3A 21.5± ± ± ± ± ± ± ± ± ± < 25 BS EN
Some of the properties and characteristics of concrete made with Portland to five of the company are as follows : -Good resistance against damaging alkali silica reaction (ASR) Because of Low Alkali Cement -Sulfate resistance against corrosion -Low hydration heat, resulting in better performance in hot weather and relatively large concreting process -Gradual increase in longevity because of the increased resistance of concrete Best application in production come as follows : -Applicable in the tropics (Type II & V) -General structural purposes (such as production of concrete types ), products for concrete ( block types - Table Concrete - Concrete Paving ) (Type II) -Dams buildings, bridge buildings, buildings for relatively large concreting (Type II) - Creating Industrial waste water transmission path, such as canals and tunnels (Type V) -Structures exposed to sulfate waters with low salinity (1500 PPM) and soils with with sulrate amount between 1 to 0.2 % (Type II) -Structures exposed to waters with high sulfate (1500 PPM) and soils with with sulrate amount between 2 to 0.2 % (Type V) -Concrete storage tanks, industrial water, industrial water treatment plants and ponds (Type V) Optimal storage conditions and tips for recommended use : -The should be stored and keep in cool and dry place. Walls should be free from moisture. If possible, it should be kept in a place with less air penetration. We should not put more than 10 bags on each other. The bags should be removed step by step from the pallet in order to let lowest air infiltration between packet. Bags should also be placed on pallets to absorb less moisture.
-Cement bags in areas with relative high humidity should be used in maximum of 45 days after production (in normal conditions, up to 90 days) -Cement used should be of from harmful substances for the preparation of mortar and concrete -Hazardous materials include clay lumps and loose particles, particulate smallest less than 75 microns, shale and clay particles smaller than 75 microns that must be free of coal and lignite, mica, sulfate, water-soluble and water-soluble chlorides. Description of risks : Respiratory and skin irritant and causes serious risks to the eye. A wet is a strong alkaline solution, which makes up the skin is irritated. In addition, the frequent exposure to dry increases the potential damages to the lungs. HEPA filter should be used to prevent damage to the lungs in the workplace. If any contact occurs with the eyes, immediately wash them with plenty of water and then wash the affected areas with isotonic solution (0.9 %) s.
