They are able to provide drawings to a high specification along with supported design calculation if required. Many years of experience have allowed Durham Lifting to provide you with a clear understanding of the latest Design Standards and ensure compliance throughout including NDT/MPI Analysis on finished products. Our highly skilled engineers can Design, Manufacture and provide Testing Services, utilising 30Tonne Overhead lifting capacity, including Drop Testing, Chain Testing, Frame Testing, Pulling Heads, Anchor Testing. Wire Rope Testing, Offshore Components and Connector Testing as per the relevant British Standards. Our highly skilled engineers can Design, Manufacture and provide Testing Services.

9 Working closely with our clients we have been involved in some of the world s largest Onshore and Offshore Lifting Projects. BEAM TESTING Testing is designed inline with your required sling angle and test procedure. Third Party witness is available from DNV, ABS and Lloyds. Pre and Post Test MPI is carried out as standard in line with British Standards. WIRE ROPE SOCKET AND BREAK TO DESTRUCTION The correct attachment of terminations to ropes should be completed with the necessary skill, and knowledge, We have a wide range of sockets available for rope termination. Once a satisfactory termination has been achieved rope samples can then be broke to destruction, Load elongation measurements and actual Breaking Load are provided using a calibrated system up to 1200Tonne. HOOK BLOCK REFURBISHMENT AND TEST Durham Lifting's qualified team can provide a turn-key operation for Crane Hook blocks, including full strip down, repair, Test Paint and despatch. CALIBRATION Calibrate and Test 1000Tonne Load Reading Shackles.
