The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the above-named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number and date on the Tender Form. Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Bidders shall note that the replacement of the ceiling grid and acoustic tiles shall be included in the base bid and the retention and modification of the existing ceiling system shall be an alternate price. Included in the base bid for shall be the requirement to extend all partitions 150mm above the t-bar suspension system and brace partitions directly to the underside of structure as noted on the drawing A4.1 Reflected Ceiling Plan. 2. Bidders shall disregard reference to specifications sections Summary of Work and Schedule of Division 1 noted in the Bid Form (Section ). 3. A cash allowance has been included for graphic film only. Sandblast film shall be included in the base bid. 4. The door portal detailed in drawings 5/A6.1 and 6/A6.1 shall be constructed as a millwork piece to be installed following the installation of the door. No fasteners, structure or mounting plates shall be visible when standing in front of the finished piece. Refer to sketch ADD-1 for additional dimensions. 5. O.B. Overhead Braced toilet partitions by Shanahan s shall be accepted as an equivalent alternate product. 6. SunProject Deko S-70 roller shades will be accepted as an equivalent alternate product. 7. No alternates shall be accepted for the specified Epson #V12H white boards. 8. Bidders shall refer to the Pre-Renovation Update to Designated Substance and Hazardous Material Survey and Specification Sections for Designated Substance and Other Hazardous Materials prepared by True Grit Consulting g Ltd. and provided by Lakehead University. Scope of report shall be included in the base bid. Architectural Specifications 1. Disregard specification section Separate and Alternate Prices Appendix previously issued and replace with section Separate and Alternate Prices Attached, dated June 9, Bidders shall note additional pricing with regards to salvage of the existing acoustic ceiling system. 2. Disregard specification section Acoustical Ceilings for Minor Works dated May 20, 2016 and replace with section Acoustic Ceilings for Minor Works attached, dated June 9, Bidders shall note revised specifications for new acoustic ceiling system. 3. Section Architectural Woodwork: 3.1. Revise item 2.2 Title shall be revised to Flush Wood Doors, face panels shall be revised to birch veneer. Architectural Drawings 1. Add architectural sketch ADD-1 detailing additional dimensions for the portal at door D01 as well as the location of signage by cash allowance. 2. Add architectural sketches ADD-2 and ADD-3 detailing millwork to be installed a t nodes of light fixtures L2 at the ceiling and south wall of room G06 Lobby. Refer to drawings 1/A4.1 Reflected Ceiling Plan and 2/A5.2 Interior Elevation. Mechanical & Electrical Addendum 1.
