Revised Change Order: $414,550 Contract Start: June 15, 2009 Contract Completion: August 15, 2009 Scope: The construction of a 100,000 sq. ft. parking lot with 194 parking stalls south and west of the existing parking lots.the parking lot will be adjacent to the existing Main Instructional Building located on the Chino Campus. Status: Phase I is near completion, with asphalt and parking stall striping completed. Security blue phones and parking ticket machines will be installed the week of August 10, 2009, in anticipation of the fall 2009 semester. Phase II, installation of parking lights, will be complete by mid September Chino Campus parking lot, view looking east. Language Arts/Social Science-HVAC Project Architect: P2S Engineering Contract Amount: $2,700,000 Construction Manager: Chaffey College Approved Change Orders: $95,164 Contractor: Siemens Revised Change Order: $2,795,164 Contract Start: May 15, 2009 Contract Completion: August 14, 2009 Scope: This is an energy project upgrade to the Language Arts and Social Science buildings, which will include installation of new air handling equipment and new lighting systems. Status: The renovation work in the Social Science building is complete. Siemens will be substaintially complete in the Language Arts building in early August The Language Arts and Social Science buildings will be ready for the fall 2009 semester. 1.Language Arts-interior view of the classroom. Revised Contract: $154,882 Contract Start: May 14, 2009 Contract Completion: November 6, 2009 Scope: This project is the installation of data and fiber cabling for the Visual and Performing Arts Complex, New Gymnasium, and the Physical Science Building. Status: T and D Communications, Inc. has completed Phase I, which included placing new media to the Fashion, Ceramics, and Music buildings of the Visual and Performing Arts Complex, as well as to the Physical Science building. T and D Communications, Inc. began working on this phase at the end of the spring 2009 semester. Phase II for this project is scheduled to begin August 17, 2009, which includes the placement of new media to the New Gymnasium and the Stadium. 1. Installed underground conduits for new media placement from the New Gymnasium to Stadium. Page 2 of 13

Revised Contract: $1,089,000 Contract Start: May 11, 2009 Contract Completion: October 5, 2009 Scope: The Fontana Phase III Parking Lot project consists of the construction of a new parking lot, landscaping, driveway/fire lanes, walkways, utilities, lighting, and signage at the Fontana Campus. Status: Bogh Engineering, Inc. has constructed the curbs and gutter. The cobblestones have been placed at the bio-swale, and installation of the irrigation lines in the parking lot planters is complete. The planting of trees has begun, and the base for the walkway pavers has been placed. Bogh Engineering, inc. has also installed the electrical conduit, and constructed the light pole bases. Asphalt is scheduled to be laid mid August Phasing and Logistics plan for the parking lot. 2. Cobblestones and constructed curbs. 3. Planted trees and constructed light pole bases. Page 3 of 13

Original Contract: $22,145,000 Construction Manager: Bernards Approved Change Orders: $ 956,191 Contractor: ProWest Constructors Revised Contract: $ 23,101,191 Contract Start: February 2008 Contract Completion: - Bldg. B & C- Ceramic Lab/Art Studio Summer Bldg. F Art Complex Fall Bldg. E- Music Building Summer 2009 Scope: This project is comprised of four buildings two new buildings and two buildings that will be renovated. The Performing Arts building, the main building, will be a threestory structure. Including an art complex, digital media labs, photo studio, dance studio, and post-production lab, art studio, audio lab, interior design lab, lecture rooms, and faculty offices, this structure will be 46,000 sq. ft. Additionally, there will be a 5,500 sq. ft. one-story music rehearsal building constructed. This will include instrumental and choral rooms. The two existing buildings will be renovated and modernized into a Ceramics lab and Fashion Art Studio. Status: At the Performing Arts building, ProWest Constructors continues to install the exterior sheathing. Drywall installation continues at the main level walls and has also started at the upper level. The upper level mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough in is on going. The installation of roofing material is on going at the Performing Arts building, and the casework, tack boards, and marker boards have been installed on the lower level. At the Music building, the installation of acoustical wall panels, tack board marker boards, and carpet tiles is complete. ProWest Constructors is continuing to install the cement board panels at the exterior of the building, and is preparing 1. Exterior rendering of the main building. 2. Completed light fixture installation at the Ceramics building. for a punch list walk. At the Fashion and Ceramic buildings, lighting fixtures have been installed, and ProWest Constructors is working to complete the punch list items in both buildings. 3. West side of the Music building. 4. Exterior sheathing and lath at the Performing Arts building. Page 4 of 13
5 Projects under Construction Physical Education Athletics-New Gymnasium Architect: NTD Architecture Original Contract: $8,560,543 Construction Manager: Bernards Approved Change Orders: $51,127 Contractor: Edge Development, Inc. Revised Contract: $8,611,670 Contract Start: September 29, 2008 Contract Completion: December 23, 2009 Scope: This project consists of a new 22,000 sq. ft. gymnasium. It will include locker rooms and a snack bar. Status: At the New Gymnasium, EDGE Development, Inc. has completed installation of the structural steel for the metal deck roofing, canopy, and storefront. CMU block at the site walls and transformer enclosure have been completed. EDGE Development, Inc. is continuing installation of chilled and hot water supply and return piping for the existing gymnasium. Installation of the electrical, fire alarm, plumbing, fire sprinklers, and duct work have been completed on the east end of the New Gymnasium with completion at the main and west end to continue through the beginning of August Metal stud 1. Exterior rendering of the building. framing has been completed inside the building, and the transformer in the electrical room has been set. 2. Rough in of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing at the east end locker rooms. 3. Completion of CMU transformer enclosure. 4. Metal stud framing installation. 5. Installation of metal deck roofing. Campus Center West will be constructed in its place. Select modernization of the Campus Center East will occur as well. Status: Project has completed the design verification process with the College Design Standards and College User Groups. Swing space plans are in the development stage for this project. MDA Johnson Favaro expects final Division of the State Architect approval of all back check comments by mid August The project bid documents are in process. 1. Rendering of interior cooridor. 2. Status: The Division of the State Architect has approved the main building, and HMC Architects is working on the back check comments. The project will be resubmitted to the Division of the State Architect for final approval by early August Upon final approval, the project will be submitted to the State Chancellor s office for approval to proceed to bid and award of the contract. Tentative construction is to start in fall 2009, subject to approval of state funding. 1. Exterior rendering of the building looking north. 2. First floor plan layout. 3. Second floor plan layout.
