1 Project No.: P Building Number: P05000 Lompoc VMB Grounds Project Description: Overlay, Seal Coat and Restripe Parking Lots Background: The asphalt paving comprises approximately 135,600 square feet of the site and exhibits edge cracking, longitudinal cracking, raveling and weathering, exacerbated by over-irrigation drainage in some places. Half will require a 2 mill overlay and the other half may get by with a sealcoat only. Scope: The treatment recommendation for half t of the paved surfaces is a HMA mill and overlay of 2 inches. This treatment should address the cracking and weathering distress. The rest will need a sealcoat. The parking lots will also need to be restriped.
