Choosing a delivery system Once you ve narrowed your adhesive choices, the next step is to decide which package works best for your application. 3M sprayable adhesives come in three basic delivery systems: aerosol cans, cylinders and bulk (see below). 3M aerosol cans are the ultimate in convenience. They are portable, simple to use and require no additional equipment. s are especially suited for small, multi-station assembly lines. 3M cylinders are self-contained and pressurized. Available in a variety of sizes, they are portable and require minimal equipment investment and maintenance. Their optimized spray patterns cut waste and maximize adhesive coverage. 3M bulk adhesives are available in many of the same formulations as other 3M sprayable adhesives, only packaged in larger containers. With existing equipment, it is hard to beat the cost efficiency and productivity of 3M bulk adhesives.
