See revised drawings When drawings indicate issued for addendum 04 please note this refers to addendum Work is expected to proceed during winter months and all bids to be priced accordingly. 2. Drawing Rev 01 Issued for Addendum 04 a. Detail 1: Approximate depth of unsound or delaminated concrete clarified. 3. Drawing Rev 01 a. Approximate locations of existing light standards indicated. Contractor to remove and cap below grade. b. Approximate locations of existing catch basins indicated. One (1) catch basin to be relocated to suit new stair geometry. All other catch basins to remain in current location. Contractor to protect during construction and repair/make good any damage. c. Approximate extents of excavation, new asphalt, new sidewalk, new curb and gutter, and new sodding indicated. d. Contractor responsible to maintain structural integrity of adjacent retaining wall during construction. e. This addendum shall form an integral part of the Tender Documents. General Items: - As per Specification Section Summary of Work, prices are to be submitted for each Work Area individually, all Work Areas combined and unit prices for additional miscellaneous items as noted. - Extent of existing retaining wall removals: as required to install levelling pad, etc. for new precast modular block retaining walls. - As per Specification Section Retaining Walls, Contractor responsible to provide precast modular block wall, stamped design drawings, specifications, inspections, and all required geotechnical investigations. - As per specification, all areas affected by contractor s work shall be reinstated to meet or exceed existing conditions to satisfaction of MHRA representative at completion of work. Work Area A : - Section A, Dwg. 204: Revise to indicate reinstate existing sidewalk and curb conditions as per plan on Dwg Work Area B : - There is no tie-in, etc. connecting the existing reinforced concrete retaining wall and the new precast modular block retaining walls. It is intended that the two wall systems will act independent of each other. - Access to Grenada Terrace may be provided by the north end of the building during the construction period. Work Area C : - Existing road between existing retaining wall at northeast corner of parking lot (south of 109 Connor Lane) and new vehicular traffic guard and existing retaining wall may be obstructed by construction activity. Contractor to provide a workplan and schedule to address laneway and building access during construction for review and approval by MRHA. The adopted workplan shall be reviewed and approved by the Fire Marshall s office. Work Area D : - Sections A & B, Dwg.210, elevation of top tier of modular block retaining wall to match existing grade adjacent to existing retaining wall. - Remove an additional 3 m of existing reinforced concrete wall at northwest corner of basketball court (see attached photo # ending 42) and replace with modular block wall. Elevation to match existing grades. - Remove existing fence as required to facilitate construction. Page 1 of 4

The adopted workplan shall be reviewed and approved by the Fire Marshall s office. - Work Area E : - Remove wooden access stair at Rodney Terrace (see attached photo # ending 43) as required during construction and reinstate once construction is complete. - Access to Rodney Terrace may be provided by the north end of the building during the construction period.
