Were told that it is what was expected as they cannot be in place longer without temporary tape. Were asked if breakdown by location could be provided for rock and common ex, CTB and pavement. Were told KDOT would provide what they had. There was question about whether full depth concrete could be place in lieu of CTB. Were told that KDOT had to review further. It has been determined that KDOT will add an alternate bid for HMA base but concrete cannot be placed full depth. There was a question about whether wire mesh could be used in the 13 section of replacement approach pavement. Were told that KDOT needed to review and would provide answers. KDOT has determined that typical reinforcement must be used in these areas. Original plan sheets for these locations are being provided for information. No full depth patches or pavement replacement shall be left unattended once pavement is removed until the concrete is replaced see revised general notes.
