12 At Solensis Windows and Doors, we produce an energy efficient vinyl window custom built to perform for Canadian Climates How do we do that? By ensuring our windows exceed industry standards for Windows and Doors. When you look for a quality window and door, above all else you need to ensure the products meet your local Energy Star requirements and are CSA certified. Energy Star Canada rates products based on a set of criteria that measure; the amount of heat that comes through the window called solar heat gain (SHGC). The lower the value the better. Energy Star also assigns an overall value known as Energy Rating (ER), this number tells you the energy efficiency of the product. Canada is divided into 3 zones, look for the zone that is right for you. Solensis Windows and Doors has products that are designed for all zones. Solensis Windows and Doors are CSA Certified and consistently achieve the highest possible CSA ratings within their class. To achieve CSA Certification, Solensis Windows and Doors are not only certified by the CSA lab, but are subject to random audits in the plant.
