The prescribed tender form and document showing terms and conditions of this tender can be obtained from Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, (Head Quarters) situated at Vanijya Therige Bhavana, D. Devaraj Urs Layout, A Block, Davangere or the Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, LVO 465, Vanijya Therige Bhavana, D. Devaraj Urs Layout, A Block, Davangere and in the above given address during office hours on all working days (or) downloaded from website.http//:ctax.kar.nic.in. The first sealed cover should contain the particulars of (i) VAT Registration (ii) VAT Clearance Certificate (iii) PAN details of Indian Income Tax,1961 (iv) Details with proof for having been worked as qualified contractors For supply and installation of racks work. Devaraj Urs Layout, A Block, Davangere. 1. The bidder should be an authorized qualified contractor in supply and installation of racks. Proof of the same should be submitted along with the Tender documents. 2. The bidder should be a registered dealer under KVAT Act, 2003 and proof of the same should be submitted along with the tender document. 3. The bidder should submit a Tax Clearence Certificate issued by the Value Added Tax Authority concerned covering the period upto the date of publication of tender. 4. The bidder should submit proof of Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by the Income Tax Department. 5. The bidder should enclosed in sealed cover containing the Pre Qualification bid a Demand Draft for Rs. 10, as earnest money deposit (EMD) Drawn on any scheduled bank favouring Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Admn.) VAT Division, Davangere and payable at Davangere. 6. The EMD of unsuccessful bidder will be returned only after finalization of the tender process. 7. The EMD of the successful bidder will be returned only after successful completion of work covered in this tender. 8. The qualified bidder should

5 5 (i) (ii) The qualifified contractor undertaking the work of supply and installation of Racks should fix the Racks to the Walls with bolts and nuts and in untilted condition. Further, it should be installed in such a way that it can be easily detached and refixed in case of change of place. The racks installed in places other than supporting walls also should be fixed with proper support and in untilted condition. Complete the work of supply and installation of racks in Local VAT Office situated at LVO 465, Vanijya Therige Bhavana, D. Devaraj Urs Layout, A Block, Davangere as per the specifications provided in the financial bid to be submitted by the bidders. (iii) Successful bidder should contact the officer in charge of the concerned office to which the work of installation of racks and obtain letter for commencement of work and complete the work under their supervision. After completion of work, the bidder should obtain a letter of satisfactory completion of work from the concerned officer. 9. The bidder should mention net value of the work undertaken and tax element thereon separately and also enter the total value in the financial bid document. 10. If it is detected by the C.T.D. that the successful tenderer is not carrying out the work undertaken effectively, the tender award will be cancelled forthwith. EMD will be forfeited and such tenderer will be blacklisted. 11. CTD reserves the right to reject all or any of the tenders. 12. Conditional tenders will be rejected.
