Ÿ On-site consultation Ÿ Guidance in the installation & maintenance Ÿ Maintenance service during shutdowns & turnarounds Ÿ Refurbishing, repairing & replacements Non-Metallic Expansion Joints: Metallic Expansion Joints: Non-metallic ducting expansion joints are flexible connectors designed to provide stress relief in ducting systems by absorbing movement caused by thermal changers. They also act as vibration isolators, shock-absorbers and in some instances make up for minor misalignment of adjoining ducting or equipment. They are fabricated from a wide variety of non-metallic materials, including synthetic elastomers, fabrics, insulation materials and plastic depending on the designers. Metal expansion joints (also called compensators) are compensating elements for thermal expansion and relative movement in pipelines, containers and machines. 3 Products - Continued In addition to the range of Metallic and Non Metallic joints shown above, we are able to supply: Rubber Expansion Bellows: Rubber Expansion Joints (Bellows) are widely used to absorb piping and pumping equipment movement, isolated vibration, reduce mechanical noise and compensate for misalignment. Their special features also eliminate electrolysis, counter expansion and contraction against start up surge forces. Stainless Steel Flexible Hose: Metal hoses are composed of bellow elements, stainless steel wire braid and end connections. They are used as compensating, sealing, connecting and damping elements in a variety of gas and liquid transmission pipeline systems, as well as the length, temperature, position and angle compensation systems. Slip Type Expansion Joints: Slip type pipe expansion joints are used when the primary problem is a large axial movement. Each rectangular metal pipe expansion joint is custom-engineered to provide the most economical design that will absorb the thermal movements of the system in which it is installed.
