3 Weatherseals: the superior way to stop water and air infiltration in sliding applications Schlegel offer a comprehensive range of pile and foam weatherseals that provide high standards of performance, suitable for domestic, industrial, commercial and institutional applications. Our weatherseals are produced in composite materials to create a range of seals that include a selection of products designed for either exterior or interior sliding applications. Our range of weatherseals provides superior weather resistance, energy efficiency, acoustic performance and guard against dust, sand and insects. They won t stretch or distort and will perform effectively and consistently over a long period of time. Foam seals feature flexible polyether / polyurethane (PU) foam core, a polypropylene (PP) insert feature and a polyethylene (PE) outer liner Pile weatherstrip is manufactured from polypropylene with pile yarns being siliconised to repel water Excellent memory retains its original shape year after year to maintain a consistently high standard UV stable able to survive long-term sunlight exposure Weatherseal options Schlegel offer a range of options to further tailor the weatherseal to your application. 6 Shutter Pile and Angle Pile for Roller and Box Shutter Systems: anti-rattle and positioning seals for roll-up window blinds and insect screens Designed for use on roller shutter guide rails, ideal for commercial and domestic windows and doors. These seals are specially designed to fit into the tracks of roll-up window blinds and insect screens, to act as a seal between the blinds and screens and their frame, preventing ingress of insects or other particles from entering along the edges of the screen. 7 Furniture Seals: prevent dust and light contamination for sliding furniture door systems Furniture seals are used to prevent air, dust, light and other particles from entering the gaps around sliding furniture doors. The product is applied to the edge of the door panels creating an airtight seal to the door frame.
