Road delineators equipped with efficient reflectors make an essential contribution to traffic safety and defensive accident prevention. Delineators are set up as a supporting device in addition to road markings, particularly outside built-up areas, they indicate dangerous points, such as restricted traffic space, and serve to guide drivers of vehicles optically, particularly at night and in cases of poor visibility. 3 The Beilharz Company has been manufacturing and developing delineators for more than fifty (50) years. Delineators made by Beilharz have two outstanding features: they are highly functional and extremely durable quality products. The high molecular low-pressure polyethylene (PE-HD-HM) used for the manufacture of delineators made by Beilharz contains selected additives, in order to increase their UV stability far beyond the five-year warranty period and to ensure that these delineators are so rugged that they are suitable for permanent use. The quality of the delineators made by Beilharz is additionally increased by reinforcing the material thickness in critical areas (clamping area). 7 Reflectors Delineators made by Beilharz can be equipped with any reflectors available on the market. Multiple-cell reflectors (synthetic prismatic reflectors) of the class 1 and class 2 types, according to DIN EN , are used primarily. Retro-reflexion of the class 2 reflectors is approx. 100% higher, in comparison with class 1 reflectors. Detailed information may be found on our home page: Accessories Retainer of snow guide bars Drilling at the top of the delineator so that a snow guide bar can be inserted (dia. 55 mm or 60 mm); with or without covering cap as an option. Snow guide bars are available on request. Telephone information signs can be supplied as riveted or adhesive arrows, or flat-bonded. Delineators made by Beilharz are equipped with drilled holes as standard so that telephone information sign arrows can be inserted. Bonded multiple-cell reflectors of the class 1 type, either without or with metal coating. Wild animal warning reflectors Various types of these reflectors can be supplied for subsequent mounting on the delineator. Riveting equipment for installation and removal is available in two (2) types, i.e. type 1 for reflectors, classification and stationing mark plates and type 2 for telephone information signs. Honeycomb bricks for grass Highly resistant honeycomb bricks for grass, tested according to DIN , with tongue and groove system. Dimensions: 500 mm x 500 mm. Grass Restrictor Plates Grass restrictor plates for delineators, tubular posts SIGMA posts and IPE posts can be supplied with a recess, either centered or offset, as an option. Dimensions: 500 mm x 500 mm Shock Absorbers The shock absorber is available as an optional extra for many types of guard-rail and shear-off delineators. Self-Righting Delineators A self-righting delineator is available for many guard-rail or shear-off delineators as an option. After having been run over, this type of delineator can be used again immediately. Registered utility model protection has been obtained.
