1 This specification applies to APC CORK references of cork floor coverings, solid or veneered, in tiles or sheets Solid or veneered agglomerated cork tiles or sheets for floor covering purpose Veneered types are produced by gluing one cork veneer (generally 2 mm thickness) with one backing cork sheet of GN-600 Solid references are obtained by slicing sheets of required thickness from specific types of highdensity cork blocks - Granulated cork, broken cork and/or pieces of cork of different sizes, shapes and qualities depending on the design type; - Polyurethane cork binder; - Solvent-free PVA glue for veneered cork tiles or sheets; - UV-cured varnish or waterbased varnish as finishing Classification of the cork floor coverings shall be in accordance with the scheme established in EN 685 and shall, as appropriate, conform to EN 204 Class Symbol Level of use Thickness Nominal Density A 2,2 mm 400 Kg/m Moderate 22 2 B D General Heavy 4 mm 450 Kg/m 2 E F Commercial Moderate Commercial General 4 mm 550 Kg/m
